    Solanke rested or injured?

Unsure but was told he didn't travel so might be injured

I was misinformed. He did travel, but only fit enough to see them lose from the stands.

        50/50 rest/injury

Why would he travel and not make the bench? BOU only had 8 on the bench

He took a bit of a knock in the city game I think, looked like he came out for the second half still limping a little, but then he played the full 90. I reckon he's just a little bruised and needs a rest..but who knows!

why is it Luton after all?

I love their fighting spirit. but it is Luton.

They have lost to Sheff Utd, Man Utd, a 4-4 v Newcastle, beat Newcastle (their biggest win was against Everton probably) and drew against Butnley. They had a great run before Christmas. The winter break hasn't done them any good at all.

I hope they stay up BTW, they are a credit to the PL!

Did you watch the match? Krul was utterly terrible.

Haaland's movement is absolutely brilliant and with the players around him he gets chances every match even during his recent dry patch but the problem has been converting, and the finishing tonight didn't look any better, he's flattering to deceive

Why is there replay till round 4? But now extra time and penalties?

Why not do away with replays from the beginning then?

If they want smaller teams to play at their home, they can do like in Germany or spain. Let lower division teams play at home till a certain round like round 5 or 6

The 3 promoted teams this season are the worst i ever seen. From the start it was clear none of them would survive. Luton had a few moments but that's it.

    1. SouthCoastSaint
      • 14 Years

Luton are 4 points behind Forest and 5 behind Brentford with a game in hand.

Man for man they dont have much quality but much to be admired about what that manager gets out of what is a championship team bar flashes of prem from Barkley and doughty,

The other two are garbage though

    2. Ajax Hamsterdam

Nah Brentford will break free from relegation zone with Toney back. I wouldn't mind a boring team like cry palace relegated but they somehow get results being boring.

It's because we haven't had Doucoure Eze or Olise play together once this season. With Guehi, they are our best 4 players. We don't have a big squad.

Even I found it boring, all we want is good football, not like the way Kompany wants to play either.

It has been a bit of a wast I can see Guehi going this summer to man Utd, Liverpool, etc, but Olise has a large release course to be paid upfront, (nor amortised), and so is Eze.

WE always beat the teams around us, and long may that continue (Brentford haven't beaten us since promotion either)

Regardless if not forest or manu win tmrw i currently have only 3 players for 29. If Newcastle lose today i ll have 5.
Dont think i want to waste transfers for these gw 29 players.

There isn't a lot of quality to FH to, so as long as your 6-7 cover all the essentials (Bowen, Porro/Udawg, Toney, a Spurs mid, etc) you shouldn't lose too much ground.

Bournemouth giving Hwang owners a potential pathway, probably 50/50 for GW29

I got accused of saying stuff in hindsight yesterday, but still don’t see how he was the clear #1 mid choice last GW. content creators almost all dead-ending to GW29, yet all picking the guy with likely one less fixture over Bailey or a sustained FPL asset like Bowen.

He was still a good pick, but almost unanimous is mad.

    Twitter/YouTube bubble I guess.

Anyway if he gets GW29 then the real hindsight begins where he was always the 100% best pick after all

I was going Baily/Luiz and Bowen

Stuck to Bowen but went all FOMO (on here too) with Hwang.

Needed a -8 to fill out an 11 and had gw29 in mind even with only 3 players as Spurs and Chelsea have Luton and Burnley in GW30
