Anyone considered a Haalandless WC team?

    Ederson Petrovic
    Porro Lascelles VVD Gabriel Gusto
    Salah Son Foden Saka Palmer
    Nunez Solanke Isak

Thoughts on this Haaland-less WC? 7 ITB to bring him in in a couple of weeks

    Areola Dubravka (both rotate nicely)
    Bradley Gusto Gabriel Porro Zabarnyi
    Salah Son Saka Gordon Palmer
    Watkins Solanke Muniz

How much money do you have left over? I'd look to buy a stronger goalkeeper. Plus I'd swap Porro for Lascelles.

    No transfer, 1.6 itb

    Any suggestions?

    Dubravka
    Porro Gabriel kerkez (bell estu)
    Salah (c) Saka exe Palmer(garnacho)
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Thank you and gl 🙂

If you defnitely want to make a transfer then I'd go Estupinan > Lascelles, as he's a guaranteed starter now Botman is out. Estupinan is now a rotation risk, plus you save 1m.

Rotation. Stones can play there, Lewis will play in some of the easier league games sandwiched between Champs league

My only route to Salah is losing Watkins. Would you lose Watkins ahead of Wolves or risk it without Salah this week?

I've got both but would rather keep mighty Mo over Watkins.

I would wait a week for Salah and play Watkins home to Wolves

No FH. WC & BB chips remain. Not sure if wildcard this week is the best option or just take a hit to get Salah in? Team isn't looking great atm.

    A: KDB Solanke/Watkins > Salah Semenyo/Muniz (-4)
    B: Wildcard
    C: Something else?

    Areola Turner
    Saliba Gabriel Gusto Branthwaite Cash
    Son Saka Palmer KDB Barkley
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

I'd roll your transfer and mini wildcard in 31. Get some Liverpool players in.

You can easily build to a great 11 for 34 with FTs and then you can use your WC to BB in 37.

Late on the reply sorry as posted close to bed time!

Would there not be value in doing A this week to go early on Salah and get him in for Brighton. Means I can bench one of the Arsenal defenders this week as long as there are no other injuries. Of course the downside is downgrading one of Solanke or Watkins for a hit

Hi guys, who would you prioritise getting in this week ... Salah or Son?

Salah obviously makes sense in the medium term but not owning Son at home to Luton is terrifying.

Whichever one you'll want to captain more. You'll want Salah next GW at the very minimum.

Would consider both for a -4 but not a -8 which is what it would take.

Keeping the WC to pivot over to DGW37 players.

It would probably be Son to Salah in 31 if I don't get Mo in 30.

No Salah in 30 or Son in 31-33 doesn’t sound great. Richa might be back though.

I will have both and I will be captaining Salah fwiw. Brighton rarely play defensively and I think that Liverpool will catch them playing out from the back. I know the same could be said for Luton about rarely playing too defensively but I don't think it's to the same extent.

Please don't hang me out to dry if this advice doesn't turn out to be good like you did to poor Zoph but it's my honest opinion!

Ask yourself who is the better team between Brighton and Luton and it's Brighton. Then ask yourself, who is more likely to get hammered.....

This all depends on Salah's fitness though.

Thanks mate. Brighton defence is top 3 for xG conceded away from home. Luton's defensive stats away from home are rock bottom and apocalypticly bad.

I have WC, BB and FH left. Leaning towards FH34 and BB37.

Now is the question of when to WC? My team looks decent enough this week?

    Dubravka / Areola
    Porro / Konsa / Pau / Doughty / Gabriel
    Maddison / Son / Palmer / Saka / Bowen
    Watkins / Toney / Morris

    1FT, 7.2m itb

My plan was to do Bowen to Salah for free this week, probably WC next week. Or hit WC now?

    1. Hurnt
      • 12 Years

With Bowen to salah and son Maddison all set for gw30 I’d say your good to hold the wc for 1 more week unless you fancy adding some Chelsea to your back line or something

    Planning too far ahead?

    Dub
    Tarkowski Zabarnyi Porro
    Saka Foden Palmer Gordon
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Areola Tavernier Gabriel Estupinan

    6.4 itb 1ft

Gw30 Tav to Son bench saka free
Gw31 Watkins Foden to Salah Semeydo -4
    Gw32 save
Gw33 son Gordon to Diaz Havertz free
    Gw34 haaland to Nunez free

Gives me 10 players with double gw34

    Dub
    Gab Zab Tark
    Salah Diaz Saka Havertz
    Nunez Solanke Semeydo

    Are Palmer Porro Estup

Then wc gw35 or gw36 to bb gw37

Any obvious flaws in this plan? Better suggestions appreciated

I think you don't need ait nouri cz, you are goona play FH at gw 34 and you gonna bench him at gw30.

You're in a good position with both Salah and Son, so I don't think you need to take a hit or wildcard this week.

On a WC, looking at tripling up on Arsenal - already have Saka and Gabriel, don't want Raya as have my keepers sorted out and can't afford Odegaard so who's the best bet for the third Arsenal slot:
    a. Saliba
    b. White
    c. Rice (allows me to upgrade elsewhere)
    d. Havertz
    e. someone else

Saliba because he should be nailed on for both games in a double gameweek. White is definitely tempting though...
