    Today xhaka won the league title with leverkusen. After the disgraceful way he was treated by arsenal fans, he moved on and went on to better things.

    You just know he loved rubbing it in the Arsenal fans faces. He never forgot that night he was boo’d off and the way his wife, kids and family were abused and threatened by the fan base. Sure, he was professional and carried on doing his job but you just don’t forget those things. As soon as he saw an opportunity he was out the door and now he’s won the title and leaving that cess pit fan base behind was the best thing he ever done

    And Emery. The man the fan base mocked and disrespected has gone on to better things and proven what a top class manager he is. No luiz and also without the likes of Ramsey, mings but you don’t see this team or fan base making excuses. They went and got the job done ahead of a massive European game midweek.

    This was a man who was speaking English as a second language and was mocked for saying “good evening”. The same people mocking him can hardly put 2 sentences together in their own language yet mock a man fluent in more than one language and trying to adapt to the country he is working in by learning and speaking the language

    Two people disrespected and hounded by a despicable fan base have shown they are better off and their future is much brighter and successful

      Not all of us did those things. I have always had great respect for Emery and at the time said he should be given more time. Him and us just wasn’t the right fit

      Xhaka got hounded that day and rightly so (apart from the extreme stuff), but he’s improved so much as a player and we’re happy for him. He deserves that title a lot

      Emery didn't get the time, the money or the Edu that Arteta has had. Shame, he was a great pick but at a time when Arsenal were falling apart at the seams. Xhaka just wasn't suited for the Premier League, the game passed him by too often and he was a liability. Happy for him to have found a great home in Germany.

    I’ve got 1FT but want to free hit now (GW34).

    Can I use the FT(for GW35), and then free hit for GW34? Will the transfer remain?

    If I FH first, will I lose my FT?

    Interesting times in the PL.

    Two 'big' clubs (Spurs and Chelsea) who have underperformed after changing manager. If they can't do well when they have no European football then they are going to find a season with European football much harder

    One big club (Man Utd) somehow still in transition more than a decade after their greatest manager left, but perhaps new decision makers can turn things around.

    Another big club (Liverpool) about to lose a great manager. Big decision on who replaces him as the wrong decision could mean they end up like Man Utd

    A potentially big club (Newcastle) coming back to reality after a great season the year before. Will the owners splash the cash to push on?
