Wojciech Szczesny is a minor doubt for Arsenal’s battle at the Britannia. Sir Alex Ferguson primes Robin Van Persie for a start against Fulham, in the hope that he’ll provide the goals to compensate for the injuries at the back – despite press rumours, the United boss confirms that his array of crocked defenders remain sidelined.

      Im on a WC as well.

      I'd do Ivan->Walker/BAE, lose Jenkinson for somebody who will be around longer-term, and pick someone in the CIty defense more nailed on than Clichy (Zabaleta?) Its your last WC for awhile so you want to think longer term than just GW2.

      I like your midfield except for Lennon. I'd get Everton cover.

      Might not want to double up on Fulham attack, so you might pick someone other than Petric if you have Kacaniklic.

    Question is, I thought everyone was dropping Torres for Rooney? Is it worth me sticking with this lot for another week? I've still got 2.5 mill in the bank so not enough for RVP.

    I see a lot of people are going Bale for captain. Well, I don't have him, so I am Parti Pris. But if you look into his recent playing history, I wouldn't touch him.

    In Metro last week he scored just 35, which is abysmal, and in the FPL PPI he got - 5. If Adebayor starts, he may pick up, as Manu does bring the best out of him. But captaincy??? Not today, thank you. 😀

    Got a bet I like, Odd Grenland v Brann K.O 18:00 (sorry about late notice, thought it wasn't until 19:00)

    Odd Grenland are hovering over the relegation zone and with their top scorer Borven signing for Valerenga and two influential midfielders Brenne and Fevang out injured it doesn't look like getting better anytime soon.

    Brann aren't exactly prolific away from home and this would be my main worry with the bet but with Odd Grenland so poor in front of goal this season and with the absences mentioned I think they will struggle.
