Tonight sees the last three Premier League fixtures of 2010 take place, to put an end to a treacherous gameweek. Chelsea host Bolton, Arsenal travel to Wigan, and Liverpool and Wolves play slightly later in front of the cameras. Follow the action with us in our Dugout Discussion, which is open as usual.
The team news is coming through, and there is more rotation to endure…
Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Essien, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba, Malouda.
Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Moreno, Holden, Muamba, Taylor, Kevin Davies, Elmander.
So Nicolas Anelka and Ramires start for the Champion’s at the expense of Salomon Kalou and John Obi Mikel respectively. For Bolton, Chung-Yong Lee’s departure to the Asia Cup sees a start for Rodrigo Moreno. No, I’ve not heard of him either.
Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Stam, Gary Caldwell, Alcaraz, Gohouri, Thomas, Diame, Cleverley, Watson, N’Zogbia, Rodallega.
Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Eboue, Squillaci, Koscielny, Sagna, Diaby, Rosicky, Denilson, Bendtner, Chamakh, Arshavin.
Huge changes for Arsenal tonight sees Samir Nasri dropped to the bench, and Robin van Persie left at home. In comes a totally different front six from the Chelsea game. No major surprises from the home team.
Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Kyrgiakos, Skrtel, Konchesky, Kuyt, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Torres, Ngog
Wolves XI: Hennessey, Zubar, Stearman, Berra, Elokobi, Foley, Milijas, Hunt, Jarvis, Ward, Ebanks-Blake
The long-awaited (and much needed) return of Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is the major piece of team news from the 8pm game. Daniel Agger also returns for Liverpool, and takes his place on the bench.
