Having given our top ranking managers in the Fantasy Premier League game their fifteen minutes earlier this week, it’s now time to put the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game in focus. We check on our Scout League leaders, monitor the transfer trends and look to tonight’s episode of the Fantasy Football Club…
Scout League Standings
Paul Hennessy remains on top of the Scout League going into Gameweek 5. A Gameweek 4 tally of 63 points was enough to stretch his lead to 3 points, with Ben Salter back on the ascendency and sitting in second. Jonathan Lenharth and Niels Koopman retain their top five spots as they give chase to the top two.
Paul and Ben are second and third in the game overall, with Hennessy 14 points behind the leader in the tussle for the Β£25k first prize. A mention here for Scout Contributor, Andy, he’s currently sitting 12th in the Scout League and in 72nd spot overall: it’s nose bleed time for Goddard.
The Scout League remains on top in the League of Leagues, with almost an 18 point margin separating us from the league in second.

Market Forces
Jermain Defoe is sitting on top of the most transferred in ranks for this week, with 5.3% of transfers involving the Spurs striker – a reaction to his two-goal salvo at Reading on Sunday which helped him to a 16-point haul. Eden Hazard remains a popular target, despite drawing a blank at Loftus Road, he has taken up 4.9% of transfers in this week, with Arsenal pairing Carl Jenkinson and Santi Cazorla also seeing 3.7% and 3.5% respectively.
Interestingly, it’s Robin Van Persie who tops the transfers out over the last seven days, a direct result of him being benched for the drubbing of Wigan last weekend. Having been the most popular captain going into the Gameweek, Van Persie was transferred out in 5.7% of the deals made this week. Carlos Tevez, despite notching the assist in the stalemate at Stoke, has been the next most ousted player – no doubt to make way for the likes of Defoe in many a lineup. Tevez has been sold in 3.3% of the transfer deals this week.
Both Van Persie and Tevez remain mainstays in many squads, however, with Van Persie currently skippered by over 18% of Sky Sports managers going into the weekend. At present, Tevez is claiming 9% of the captaincies with Eden Hazard sandwiched between this pair on 10.7%.
Incredibly, despite top scoring with 17 points last weekend, Dimitar Berbatov remains on just 1.9% ownership at the time of writing.
