Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 5

A huge day of Premier League action sees eight sides do battle, with the ‘Super Sunday’ billing fully justified. The Dugout Discussion opens in time for the first of two televised games – the small matter of Liverpool versus Manchester United.

Despite a lot of the pre-game media attention understandably focusing on events off the field, three points for either side here will be massive. Here’s how the sides line-up…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Kelly, Skrtel, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Allen, Shelvey, Borini, Suarez, Sterling.

Man United XI: Lindegaard, Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Carrick, Giggs, Valencia, Kagawa, Nani, van Persie.

Straight after the game at Anfield, we head over to the Etihad Stadium to see the other Manchester club host Arsenal.

In and amongst those two fixtures, Newcastle United welcome the visit of Norwich City, and Queens Park Rangers take the small journey to their city rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

    Apparently Vidic is being rested as part of his recovery programme...For 25 years ive loved you fergie..Now all you do is rest my fantasy players...Week 2.Rooney captain, Week 4, Robin Captain and now my Vidic in defence which is pretty much a differential these days 🙁 I swapped shifts especially so I could watch this match live

    Before today's feast of football commences, I wanted to quickly chew over the remains of yesterday. Seems to mean there's 2 assist decisions that need correcting (Brunt didn't assist Lukaku - either Long o Ridgewell did, whilst Pienaar did assist Mirallas), is anyone aware of any developments on this?
