Following the conclusion of Gameweek 21, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or a new top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 21. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24-hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you missed our meeting, emails and telegrams on the Hall of Fame and wondering what all this chatter is about, look below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to myself and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier Leauge mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2011/12 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2006/07. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (40184-13425), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member – our half season memberships are now available for just £10. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

Here's my scenario regarding the DGW's and when to WC (I'm sure many of you are tossing up such an option)

    A) Use the WC tomorrow and have maximum DGW coverage of all 4 teams for a 4pt hit. Such a proposal leaves me with a very good side after the DGWs where I don't need to make too many changes to fix everything up.

    B) Take an 8pt hit and have 2 players from each of the 4 teams for the DGW's. Use Wild card GW24, enabling me to make better more long term decisions regarding the WC team thats not blinded by DGW fever

I'd go with B as a safer bet. Option A viability depends on how many hits you may require to bring back your personal favorites into the team.

    TURNBULL
    Baines FONTE COLE
    Cazorla BalePUNCHEON MATA
    Van Persie Berbatov LAMBERT

    Subs Noble Sagna O'Brian

Ok soooo... No Chelsea coverage worries me. Here's my team atm:

    Bego, Tremmel
    Sagna*, Cuellar, Hughes, O'Brien*, Demel*
    Bale, Walcott*, Michu, Fellaini, Sterling
    RVP, Suarez, Berbatov

    Three options here:
    A) 4pt hit Bale > Mata
    B) 8pt hit Bale + Tremmel > Mata + Turnbull
    C) WC and sort everything out accordingly, only having to ship a few players after WHU/ARS DGW.

Just saw CF's post on the last page about the WC before the DGW, but surely if I can get 3 Arsenal and 3 Chelsea players I should be alright because in the DGW tbh I can't see Southampton doing much except maybe a CS against Villa and a few goals (I have Clyne) and West Ham I can see maybe scoring a few and keeping a CS against QPR (I have Demel and Noble).

So if I have this coverage without WCing, is there really any point of WCing? and after all, you can only have 3 players from each team. I plan to use my WC after the DGW of Arsenal and West Ham.

    Ok a better question:

How many players do you want from each team in the DGW, and what players(positions)

For example, I think Arsenal will concede both matches therefore considering not getting a defender altogether.

I'm getting 3 Arsenal (an attacking defender, Gibbs, and two forwards, Walcott and Podolski) and 3 Chelsea (two defenders, Turnbull and Luiz, and one forward, Mata) since I think that they have the potential to do the most damage and I fancy Chelsea for 2 CS (hence the 2 defenders)

On the other hand, I'm not getting as many WHU or SOT players since I don't think they'll do as well. 2 WHU (a defender, Demel, and a midfielder Noble who's also on pens), and 1 SOT (an attacking defender, Clyne) since they might not do as much damage but I fancy at least 1 CS from each of them.

      Hope this helps

      I would want 3 chelsea (2 Def, 1 Att)
      Arsenal (3 Att)
      Southamton (1 Att)
      WHU (not pushed)

Will probably have Mata (maybe Turnbull) and Puncheon, and then O'Brien, Walcott, Caz and Podolski

With John Terry set to return in GW22 how safe does that make players like Azpilicueta, Cahill, Ivanovic and Luiz?

I guess Ivanovic and Cole aren't going to miss many games but who is safest out of the others?

Are Cahill or Azpilicueta still good picks?

Hey guys it's gonna be a long one but I appreciate all the input.

You may skip all this explanation and 'answer' my question at the bottom who knows it might be a good idea for some of us who's on the fence regarding the WC.

    ---Explanation starts here---

Right now I have pretty much the template team here with

    Bego TURNBULL
    GIBBS DEMEL Cameron Jones Cuellar
    MATA WALCOTT PUNCH Fellaini Michu
    RVP Suarez Defoe
and do Defoe -> PODOLSKI next week

Giving me 3 ARS, 2 CHE, 1 WHU and 1 SOU for DDGW

So my original plan was to WC on GW 24 - after the Arse DGW.
Here is the proposed WC team:

    Bego 3.9 GK
    Zaba Sagna Wilson (Davies Demel)
    Mata Walcott Fell Michu Bale
    RVP Aguero (Pogre)

Now I can stick with my original plan or Do the WC this week with this team:

    Bego TURNBULL
    GIBBS LUIZ SHAW DEMEL (Davies)
    MATA Fellaini WALCOTT Michu PUNCH
    RVP Suarez LAMBERT
and Lambert -> Podolski next week

Giving me 3 ARS, 3 CHE, 3 SOU, 1 WHU for DDGW

From there I'm just gonna slowly 'trim' my team until I reach my desired WC team.
I've figured out the transfer and it would need just 2 GW before I reach it.

The only difference is on GW 24 - GW 25:
Zaba(qpr LIV) + Bale (nor wba) vs Davies(sun whu) + Suarez(ars mci) -> Will the former win by much?
And by GW 26 I will get my desired WC team.

You deserve a candy for reading this far.

    ----Skip until here----

Ok so this is long I'm just gonna conclude here for those who are nice enough to skip all that but willing to answer..

Would you rather have 3 ARS 2 CHE 1 SOU 1 WHU for DDGW
+ Zaba (qpr LIV) + Bale (nor wba) on GW 24 & 25
    OR
Would you rather have 3 ARS 3 CHE 3 SOU 1 WHU for DDGW
+ Davies (sun whu) + Suarez (ars mci) on GW & 25

    Many thanks.

Yeah if I still have 2 WC it's a no brainer for the first one for me.

Ok so it's 2-0 for the 'less DGW coverage but 2 better fixtured players for 2 GW'. 😉

I'g go 1st option because of Bale (easy fixtures), Zaba CS potential vs. qpr and because Suarez faces tough matches, though he may score.

I can see Bale scoring more than Suarez on those GW as well given that he may have to share his goalscoring duty with Sturridge.

that type of plan will come back to hurt you because you'll have other injuries and issues around your expensive players...I had George McCartney for 19 weeks because there was always something better to do

3 sot is crazy!! i'd go with 2 players MAX from them. their defenders will be a waste imo so if you got 3 i'd have to be lambert ramirez and puncheon which takes up 3 attacking slots

Getting 3 was not my plan actually.
I only intended to get Punch + Lambert from Sou.

That leaves me with a 4.0 value for the final defender GIBBS LUIZ DEMEL (Davies)
The one with any sort of value in that range is only Shaw due to his DGW. 😛

Would it be a good option if you only have the January WC left though? Sure some of the teams have reasonable fixtures afterwards but you'd be without your favorites for a while whilst you slowly look to bring them back in.

            But my thinking is
            Begovic
            Ars defender Che defender
            Bale Mata Walcott Michu
            RVP Suarez

Thats 9 players right their you would happily start whatever be the game. Chopping and changing otherwise should not be a big issue right? See the players you want in the future, plan accordingly.

I agree, having a 2nd wc in the backpocket does put me at ease though because i know i have an insurance policy of sorts.

It is really aggressive vs. safe + defensive out here.

Blimey, that's gonna be cheap defending.

      Puncheon in m/f
      Wilson Nelsen Demel

would do it with a little to spare. Doubles on Stoke and Hammers though. (Wilson expected back very soon apparently.)

Or if you want slightly more in defence, go for Marveaux.

I'll do yours if you do mine?! 🙂

      Bego Turnbull
      O'Brien, Cuellar, Wilson, LUIZ, GIBBS
      Bale, Mata, Wally, Michu, NOBLE
      RVP, Suarez, Berbs

These give you 0.4 spare cash.

I chose Noble over Punchy simply as I don't think Sot will do much with their away fixtures and Noble gives you a viable bench option this GW and has the double next.
I chose Luiz over all others as he seems most nailed on Che player and his GW 24 fixture is also good.
I chose Gibbs as he is in great form and provides attacking threat.

      Hope it helps champ.

My bad. 🙂 Didn't include Wilson!! Hahaha... oh must have gotten hopes up.

Well then instead of the big back field it would be Wilson, Demel, Shaw and Noble. 🙂

Puncheon, Clyne/Shaw, Davies, Wilson (will be back soon for Stoke). This would mean you're set for the DGW. Perhaps even consider getting Demel in for Davies if you really want to go all out

Thoughts on potential w/c team, if the Che/Sou dgw goes ahead?

    Turnbull Jaask
    Ivan Gibbs Cameron Wilson Demel
    Mata Bale Walcott Fellaini Puncheon
    RVP Berb Jelavic

Then Mata -> Cazorla for the following week.

Don't want to wreck my team just for the sake of a Southampton dgw of dubious quality. Two away fixtures. I'd consider benching Puncheon this week actually.

Jelavic not seeing lots of action of late and not putting away the balls that he does latch on to. He is still being helpful and productive in real world, but not racking up any FPL points.

He is a decent option, i will have him for sure at that price.
Swansea are good for a few clean sheets with Vorm now back and he does have the odd assist potential in him too.

he's in my squad at present...
i do like swans defense to stiffen up a bit better with vorm back
i could definitely do worse for a fifth defender

Ok, so I'm using my WC after the DGW's, would you rather have:

    A) Walcott + Sagna (or 5.1 or less defender)
    B) Michu + J Evans

Naughton will get very minimum game time. Just like Jenkinson case with Sagna coming back in
