With a fortnight passing since we last darkened Paddy Power’s door, it’s given us time to take stock of our recent near misses and ready ourselves for another foray. With the Scout Picks in place, we look to Paddy’s markets and back our selections, slicing up another tenner in an attempt to make some Easter profit.

With Theo Walcott absent, it’s been left to Santi Cazorla to come to the fore and ascend to the top of this week’s Captain poll. The Spaniard goes into the Emirates clash with Reading with a strong Fantasy backing and is well fancied to fetch returns having score three goals in his last four league outings. Arsenal are huge favourites ahead of the meeting with Nigel Adkins’ side and Paddy’s odds of 3/1 on a Cazorla goal with an Arsenal clean sheet are suitably slim. Even so, we can’t see past the Gunners this weekend and we’re happy to back them with a fiver of our stake cash.

That’s made a big hole in our pocket, limiting our chances of backing Paddy’s Dimitar Berbatov market. The Bulgarian goes into the Craven Cottage clash with basement club QPR having struck three goals in consecutive matches and will surely fancy his chances of adding to his 11-goal tally against a defence that’s without a clean sheet in their last five. Paddy are clearly behind Martin Jol’s side, offering 4/1 on a Berbatov goal with a Fulham clean sheet against the R’s. With two bets to come, we’ll spare just a couple of quid on this one.

Wigan’s Shaun Maloney is perhaps a surprise name in our Picks lineup but, with decent dead-ball delivery and a goal threat from range, the little Scot looks set to be a key figure when Norwich draw up at the DW Stadium for what is a crucial encounter for Roberto Martinez’s men. Paddy have 13/2 on a Maloney goal with a Wigan clean sheet against the Canaries and with three goals in their last six league outings, this one looks worthy of another £2 of our tenner.

That leaves just a single pound coin amongst the fluff and bus tickets and, as usual, we’ll toss that the way of Paddy’s Scout treble. This time around they’re offering 13/2 on a goal for Luis Suarez at Villa, a Gareth Bale strike at Swansea and a clean sheet for Arsenal at home to Reading.

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

That just means they don't have enough players to deal with 2 games in three days. I hope you're right though 🙂

    Some scoring odds:

    Suarez: 1.72
    RVP: 2.10
    Bale: 2.10
    Caz: 2.10

(Although Walcott is 1.66 for some reason!)
