The eighth gameweek of the season is brought to a close tonight at Ewood Park, as Blackburn Rovers host Sunderland.

The visitors are bolstered by the availability of their star striker Darren Bent, and out-of-position fantasy favourite Ahmed Elmohamady also starts to the relief of many. Elsewhere, there is only one change from the side that held Manchester United before the international break, as Danny Welbeck comes in for Boudewijn Zenden after not being eligible against his parent club.

The home side make two changes from their previous league outing at the Britannia Stadium, with Martin Olsson and Nikola Kalinic replacing Ryan Nelson and Mame Biram Diouf.

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Givet, Olsson, Nzonzi, Jones, Emerton, Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Kalinic

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Onuoha, Turner, Bramble, Bardsley, Malbranque, Cattermole, Elmohamady, Henderson, Welbeck, Bent

      I have the same problem.

      This week: Hart 1, Williamson 1, Shawcross 1, Konchesky 1, Foley 2.

      Very annoying to then watch a game like this one tonight and see cackness rewarded with 6 points.

          Hey man, I had no choice with Alex injured, Drogba and Etuhu out too. No one was calling Konchesky crap when he went to Liverpool a few weeks ago though.

          Shawx has been a major disappointment and Foley is the cheap bench warmer that I had to play this week.

          Never mind, adjustments will be made Mr Jack 'Assasin' Tatum.

        and then Konchesky subbing in due to Drogba, scoring 1 point too.

        The stupid thing is, I prepare my team well I feel, and all of the top bunch had decent home fixtures where they have a reasonable chance of a CS - to end up with none is BS!

    Wow, I don't think this game tonight could have realistically gone any worse. Ok, maybe Samba could have scored 10 own goals all assisted by Elmo, before getting sent off, but it isn't a likely scenario, whereas what happened tonight is totally in the realms of plausability and sh*tness.

    Rivals had Elmo, Mignolet, Robinson and Jones, (some having two of these), I was the only guy with Samba...
