Rate my Team and the Projections have now been fully updated. They not only include the new arrivals from the transfer window, they also reflect the recent 25-man squads and factors such as ineligibility for fixtures against parent clubs for loan players.

The Rate My Team model has also been tweaked slightly with regards to bonus point allocation and form over the opening three Gameweeks.

Members can now view Projections for all players for Gameweeks 4 onwards, or get a snapshot of the next six Gameweeks. Rate my Team, meanwhile, allows those members playing wildcards to experiment with their lineups. Simply enter you team id and your current squad will be retrieved.

Having tweaked the model throughout the day, there will doubtless be further changes implemented and, should there be any major changes, I’ll notify you via comments.

Season memberships, giving access to Rate My Team and the Projections, are currently available for £15. View this page for details.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

LR i've got 2 FT's, nothing in the bank, and team is as follows

    boruc foster
    toure coleman collins shaw murner
    walcott silva oscar mirallas kim
    soldado benteke sturridge

do you still think foster + toure > mig + chester? or are there other moves I should be considering?

No, it's very strong. Not sure on Nolan for this forthcoming spell though - possibly better prospects about - great long-term but I'd be tempted to select to fixtures. Zaba also a mild concern perhaps - City not settled at the back and United investment possibly better given their fixtures.

I think that's the best captain in the absence of RVP. Lamela is still a risk. Keep an eye n Hazard's achilles injury, although quite good bench, except Ward for this week.

First game after internationals always throws up weird team sheets so pretty much everyone has to dip into their bench.

Barkley will be interesting. McCarthy in the team, Gibson likely to be back....could mean rotation for the youngster long term.

very good point on Barkley (missed him on that bench).

I'd steer clear and see how he fares for another couple of GWs. He's got some serious competition ahead of him now and Brady is available at about the same price depending on when you got Barkley.

Brady > Barkley in my opinion.

Newcastle's defence away is not great and many are heading back from internationals. Benteke is a goal machine who punishes defensive frailties. Also forwards get more bonus for goals. For captain choices I think forwards are the way to go given the emphasis on their goal scoring ability.

Walcott is a great option too...just think Benteke shades it.

just realized I have yet to captain a forward this season 😆
so far it's been haz, theo, theo

very good points favoring benteke. and I forgot the fact that forwards get more BPS for scoring a goal than mids do.

even with two cs in a row you don't rate newcastle defense?
and what are your thoughts on sunderland's defense this year?

looks good but i'd whop 0.5 off your keeper combo and keep migs all season. Boruc -> 4.0

then you can put a bit more into that back three which looks a little underwhelming (chester + 1.3 to spend)

Crouch hasn't been firing, Jones is craptacular. Arnautovic might get games as the lone striker - he's 6'4. Stoke's fixtures are fine after GW5 so hopefully the two tough games will give us some indication of how he will be used.

Arguably the best striker since the turn of the century, but he;s surely not the player he was 5 or 6 years ago (I've not seen him in his time at Anzhi), and it will be tough to make the transition from Russian football to the Premiership.

Regardless of that, Chelsea's frontline rotation will keep me well away from him unless there is a drastic change.

why RMT tool and projections think that Couthino will outscore sturridge?

if he keep playing as winger he dont stand any chanse to be good fpl option

i assume scouts think that he will be moved in the hole?

that's the best position for him and can be dangerous but still Sturridge will score more fpl points than him
