→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

We arrive at Gameweek 6 clutching our first Flutter winnings of the season. Last time out we staked £3 on Michu to notch a third strike in a week, coupled with a Swansea clean sheet at Crystal Palace, and, at last, wiped the smile off Paddy Power’s face. Our confidence boosted, we’ve focused on red-hot Rooney and a couple of heavily backed midfield prospects that found themselves just missing out on Scout Pick selection.

First, we stop off at Old Trafford to find Wayne Rooney in bloom and in demand. The United striker has enjoyed a 0.3 price rise in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) this week as a result of four goals in three matches prior to the midweek Capital One Cup tie. As we saw when we looked at Paddy’s odds earlier this week, Rooney and United are strongly tipped to put Steve Clarke’s West Brom to bed in Saturday’s three o’clock encounter and, with Robin van Persie’s degree of involvement still uncertain following typically cryptic messages from David Moyes, Rooney looks the most likely architect of their destruction. Paddy are offering 6/1 on Rooney to score two or more goals with a United clean sheet against the Baggies. We’re happy to back the man in form to the tune of £3 of our stake.

Our next two markets concern players who were on the cusp of the Scout Picks this week, only to be ousted at the last. Like Rooney, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey has form on his side and has been backed by an overwhelming tide of FPL investment in recent weeks. He travels to Swansea as a slight injury doubt but off the back of seven goals this term, four in his last three outings. If he plays, he’s likely to be in the mix for the Gunners – reason enough to carefully consider Paddy’s odds of 10/1 on a Ramsey goal with an Arsenal clean sheet against the Swans. We’ll lay down £2 of our tenner on this one.

Everton’s Kevin Mirallas is lined up for our final market. Robbed of his Scout Pick selection by Romelu Lukaku’s presence on our bench, Mirallas is nonetheless fancied to notch when Newcastle pay visit to Goodison on Monday night. Indeed, when we checked in with Paddy’s odds this week, we found Mirallas to be the most likely Fantasy midfielder to score anytime in the Gameweek. With odds of 5/1 on a Mirallas goal with an Everton clean sheet against the Magpies, we’re happy to make this our bet of the week and offer up the remaining £5 of our stake.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Suarez. The stage is set. Sunderland headless after months of public humiliation. Will they play out of there skins today? maybe. But then there's suarez with a point to prove. And the last time the teams met (albeit at Anfield) Liverpool won 3 - 0, Suarez scoring twice and also notched an assist.

If you're looking for a one week punt in for Bentekkers who would you have?
    Negredo, Jovetic, some one else?

On the topic of Negredo vs Jovetic, seeing the scouts go for Negredo, I cant help but feel that with Aguero out, Jovetic seems the more like for like replacement. While Negredo is always going to be under threat from Dzeko.

He is the nailed on right back and my theory is Moyes would prefer to play him against West Brom than mid-week in Ukraine.

Ok, my current wc team, have I lost the plot?

    Mig, boric
    Baines, Coleman, burner, Wilson, walker
    Oil, michu, Whitt, Barkley, Brady
    Roon, Sturridge, giroud.

Playing 433 mostly, I just don't fancy any other mids over Baines. Still toying with the idea of downgrading mig or getting ravel and maybe getting vidic for Coleman.

      Baines is a midfielder

I wouldn't worry if I can filed 3 other defensive options e3ach week. The main issue with Baines is his price.

    boruc (mcgregor)
dawson toure wilson (cardiff-turner and gabbidon)
    michu ozil moses mirallas (morrison)
    rooney aguero sturridge

i want aguero for long term. Should i do aguero --> giroud this week since im on a wildcard and bring back aguero next week?

Definitely nasri ... Although word of warning about one week punts. I went for tekkers as a one week punt over Rooney last week. I made my planned switch but now have Walcott and Chester crocked. I should've just gone for Rooney. I think you may be better just getting eriksen from the off... Leaves you free to use your next transfer elsewhere next week.. You never know who will be injured next.
