With just five Premier League fixtures to choose from this weekend, our armband selection looks more crucial than ever. We analyse the leaders in this week’s Captain Poll and also delve into the data to dig up any alternatives, including our usual tip for “Captain Unsensible” – having been rewarded by Nikica Jelavic and Loic Remy in the last couple of Gameweeks, we turn to Carrow Road for Norwich’s clash with travel-sick Stoke:
Lallana (c) this week.
Sticking to my guts...Open ControlsThe most important statistic for RVP has been oddly missed from the text about him. Gives a very biased view as a result.
Open Controls4 goals in 5 games is not bad when he's just returned from injury and United are in 2nd gear. Can only improve...
Open Controls1st table, final column. Undermines everything else Paul wrote.
Its true that despite my comment RVP is worthwhile, but that doesnt justify the article.Open ControlsTo me that stat just screams potential.
Open ControlsBut not form as is suggested
Open ControlsCouldn't agree more Ginkapo.
Open ControlsWhere does he mention form? The Rooney/RVP section is pure number crunching.
I guess people interpret things in different ways...Open ControlsThere are 3 types of lies
Lies, damn lies and statistics
B. DisraeliOpen ControlsIt's all about how you present the statistics, or interpret what you've been presented. They are not lies.
I don't think there's much bias in the way the above stats have been presented. It's clear that RVP is showing the most potential out of all of the above, and therefore is a strong captaincy option.Open Controlsmy armband has been on him for this week since about GW25
Open Controls
that remark is a little disingenuous I feel
Open Controls
Am i going mad, Kos + Nolan > Evra + Puncheon 2FTs
Open ControlsGoing in with a controversial 3-3-1 formation this week.
If I get 40 points I'll be a very happy man.
Hoping for a low scoring week with very few clean sheets and some random goalscorers.Open ControlsLets cut to the chase.
So who does this article actually recommend? Should be Hazard as he is pictured there.
Smarty pants!Open ControlsHazard leads the captains poll and is therefore pictured.
Open Controls
Fellatio (c) That is all
Open Controls#valour
Open ControlsFellaini? 😯
Open ControlsYes! 😯
Open Controls
😆
Open ControlsWe'll see who's laughing by 2.30 tomorrow......
Open Controls
What are the games that haven't been scheduled yet?
Man City vs Aston Villa
Man City vs Sunderland
Sunderland vs West Brom
Everton vs Crystal Palace?
Any more?Open ControlsA few from the FA semi finals will end up added to those too
Open ControlsWont the FA Cup semis just get moved to the midweek immediately after?
Open ControlsLast year they went to GW 36 I think
Open Controlshttp://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2012/03/29/double-gameweeks-announced/ It's still possible to be midweek of course, depends who goes through I suppose.
Open ControlsLast year, if they'd moved the games to midweek there would have been Premier League games on the same night as Champions League games, that's probably why the rescheduled them for GW 36. This year the midweek after the FA Cup semis doesn't clash with the Champions League.
Open Controls
Scout Picks gonna be interesting...
Marshall
Terry Bassong Evra
Hazard Lallana Mata Snodgrass
Adebayor Lambert RVP
Something like that?Open ControlsI think Mark would've had Brunt in there if he wasn't a doubt.
Open Controls*Would have
Open Controls
pretty close i would say
maybe eto or rooney for adeOpen ControlsMaybe exactly like that apart from the keeper.
Open Controls
why are people taking about Richardson? Where's he been playing lately?
Open Controlsbecause not many options so below parr options are mentioned
i am even considering sidwell or zaha or i dont know who.....Open Controls
Rip to all those people who are still buying charlie Adam 😀 😀
Open ControlsI have 5 players playing this gameweek. I have 2FT.
Should I use both FT or save 1 for next week?? Not seeing many 'amazing' players that I need. Thinking bringing in Cahill for Koscienly.Open ControlsIs Fabio injured?..I see he went off on 72nd minute last game..
McNaughton owner here cluthing 😐 I see he signed a new contract the other day so he must be a shoe in to start..Open ControlsSuarez to Rooney/RVP or keep Suarez and just do Bony to Lambert?
Open ControlsWould you consider a punt for Hoolahan this GW for -4? As in Huddlestone->Hoolahan.
Open ControlsRooooony or hazard for captain. I see the vote has gone Hazard but would like some forum viewpoints 😀
Open ControlsI'd go with Rooney, but form suggests Haz.
Open Controls
I like that as a new snodgrass owner of one gw that it's comforting that all the other options available to me have also failed. Snodgrass got 0 points, and a wrist injury, but the other guy got a 3 match ban, and the other guy played 45 minutes.
Open ControlsIt was a sad mess, having 11 players for both these GWs and my 2 Norwich got 0 and injuries effectively giving me 9, but it looks like they might have recovered at least.
Open ControlsYou think snodgrass will play? On the plus, he had a rest, they're at home, and must see this game as one they can win.
Open Controls
Would Ade > RVP for a hit for this week only be a mad idea?
Open ControlsYes I would.

Open ControlsI am considering a cheeky J-Rod captain punt over Hazard, anyone else with me? 🙂
Open ControlsJust as a general summary, if you're asking about GW31 line ups with options A,B,C,D etc...
The one with Aguero always wins.
(If none, then you lose by default)Open ControlsA common one seems to be
Gerrard and Lukaku
Or
Sterling and AgueroOpen Controls
