With double Gameweek 31 looming large over our Fantasy plans, we turn to the Key Performance Index tables in the members section and assess a selection of players with a pair of fixtures on their upcoming agendas. The KPI data focuses on the frequency of key stats or events in order to track player form –we look to the top 10 most improved midfielders in terms of minutes per shots inside the box and also assess forwards’ shooting accuracy over the past six Gameweeks:
Negredo (c) anyone this week?
Open ControlsAguero pulled his hammy again?
Open Controlspick 1 please out of:
Kolarov
Debuchy
Williamson
WHU defender
?
Thanks! 🙂Open ControlsDebuchy best pick for DGW
Kolarov 2 more games until the end of the season (if he starts)Open Controls
So I was 1 of the stupid people who took in aguero just 2 save 0.1
Looking at transfers I could do dont mind losing 4 points taking him out for sturridge then nearly 2.0 extra to play withOpen ControlsWell, another 200 drafted him within the past thirty minutes... . At least I waited and that has saved a bit in an otherwise horrible season.

Open Controls- Lukaku and Baines revisited
My planned transfers this week were Lukaku and Baines in… but oh no, Jonty had to go and ruin it with that hot topic. DEVASTATED! 😉 (http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/03/12/scout-scribbles-ozil-woe-for-arsenal/?hc_page=1#hc_comment_6949011)
I have got to counter Jonty’s very convincing hot topic prosecution case. So here’s the (objective 😉 ) case for the defence! 😀
Baines gets points from five possible places - Minutes/Clean Sheets/Goals/Assists/Bonus
1) MINUTES
Nope, Lukaku doesn’t play left back last time I checked. 🙂
2) CLEAN SHEETS
- Everton have 8 this season (all with Baines). 3 without Lukaku, 4 with Lukaku and 1 with 32 mins of Lukaku
3) GOALS
- Baines has 3 goals - 2 memorable free-kicks at West Ham, and a penalty away to Stoke
- KEY POINT 😀 : Jonty’s hot topic said “In the first five matches of the season when Lukaku didn't play or played sparingly Baines racked up 42 points.” - However, the truth here is Lukaku played at Chelsea and then came on for 46 minutes against West Ham.
- BOTH of Baines goals came when Lukaku was ON the pitch against West Ham. However, they have been included in the NON-Lukaku PPG. Lukaku win. 😉
4) ASSISTS
Baines has just the two. One for Mirallas (fouled for a free-kick) and the other for…. Lukaku. 🙂
5) BONUS
All of Baines’ bonus points have been caused by clean sheets/goals and, as explained above, there is no logical correlation between Baines’ chance of clean sheets/goals and Lukaku playing. There is also no evidence of Lukaku disproportionately taking bonus away from Baines.
Therefore, I think the big swing in PPG was caused by Baines’ biggest haul (16 points vs West Ham) being incorrectly included in ‘without Lukaku’. There is no reason outside of this for Lukaku to be considered Anti-Baines.
One other point made by Jonty was:
LUKAKU HATES CROSSES
This season, Everton are 9th in terms of cross success % and 10th in terms of number of crosses.
Last season, (i.e. without Rom), Everton were 4th and 3rd.
This season, (i.e. without Rom), West Brom are 6th and 6th in these categories.
Last season, West Brom were 8th and 17th.
Like I said, not very scientific, but perhaps this does show teams with Lukaku don’t tend to use crossing as a primary tactic.
So, Lukaku doesn’t like crosses - but this hasn’t really affected Baines this season. 50/50 on this one.
After all this though, I have logical reasons not to get Baines. 🙁
2 clean sheets since GW11. 2 assists all season. £7.4m.
But I'm stubborn... Probably still get him. 😉Open Controls James Perch > Dani Alves

I owned Aguero for 45 minutes all season, 2 injuries. Never again!
Open Controlshave a good feeling Aguero is fine..City is deep and Pelle could have just accepted the opportunity cost of not having Aguero for the second half by rationalizing that he'd have him for the PL season which is still in their control

Lukaku (c) who is with me?
Open ControlsBladdy hell. I cautioned against getting in Aguero until he started playing well but didn't expect him to go and get crocked again tonight. Did that many people really get him in already?
Open Controls- Open Controls
lol, Aguero's hammy could strike at any time, the question is when.
I looked at his upcoming 6 fixtures in 21 days and said he wouldn't play them all and could play as little as 4. Looks like that could be as little as 1.Open ControlsI was actually looking forward to putting my Lukaku up against Aguero in gw31 🙁
Open Controls
That's the trap, panic sets in and price gets prioritized over points.
If someone was going to be 0.1 out on him I can understand them getting him, probably not otherwise.Open Controls
Several thousand.
Open Controls
Haven't really watched Sunderland all season, was A.Johnson just having a purple patch when he scored all them points or has he been looking threatening?
Reckon i'll get him or ChamberlainOpen ControlsAguero might be okay, everyone acting like his season is over.
Open ControlsThe point is, he's not going to play 3 games in 8 days, is he?
Open Controls
So many new owners in denial 😉
Open ControlsI'm annoyed because I put together a nice team that required me get Aguero on Monday as Ade was dropping and I would no longer be able to afford the team. Then I decided after the fact that I may take a punt on Kolarov which meant I wouldn't have had to rush buy Aguero.
Oh well.
Not panicking until I hear the words from Pellegrini himself.Open ControlsOut of the last 101 games Bayern Munich have played in all competitions, they have scored in 100 of them. In other words, based on those odds, there is over a 99% chance that Bayern will score against any given team. Something to think about perhaps when making a decision about the Fantasy UCL 😛
Open ControlsDGW team...
Baines & Sterling
Or
Davies & Gerrard
Help settle the voices in my head please.Open ControlsComplete this front three for the double GW...
Sturridge-Suarez-????
Was all set on Aguero but that's been screwed tonight from the look of it. Do I keep RVP or go with Negrado, Dzeko, Lukaku.... someone else? Annoying, was really looking forward to welcoming Aguero back.Open ControlsSo if Aguero is injured. How does this look?
Mannone Gazz
Baines Coleman Williamson Chester Ward
Hazard Yaya Gerrard AJ Ki
Suarez Lukaku SturridgeOpen ControlsKompany
"It looks like aguero was carrying the injury into the game"..Open ControlsHonestly Pelle is a bit of an idiot.
You have an easily injured striker fresh back from injury and you play him alone up top to lead the line? That requires a lot of work and can lead to strain.Open Controlshttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bijrf9zCEAAgGM4.jpg
LOL@Quadruple dreamsOpen ControlsStatistically March has always been Arsenals best month.
Open ControlsApart from normally going out of the champions league in that month
And getting knocked out of the fa cup in the last two years
And losing the league cup final to Birmingham?Open ControlsIn the PL we get most points. Losing to Bayern Munich and Barca isn't 'cocking up'.

At least Chelsea's billions are well spent...

Aguero will ruin my RVP differential 😛
Open ControlsRooney in instead of Lukaku might be on the cards if Aguero is well and truly out.
Open ControlsWhy do folk think this ?
He has Pool, West ham, City in the next three games.
How many goals can you really see him strong here ???
I say 2 at best.Open Controls
Anyone watching the post match interview? Anything said about Kun?
