MCD's, rate/hate my lineup. Im at 309pts, help me win cash from my pool haha. I've been doing rotation for my lineup, so an aspect of my team is spacing matchdays to give me most options. Players in brackets are those I switched out during the transfer phase.

  i think Lloris is just a waste of money,,,think what you're getting compared to a cheap keeper...a slightly increased chance of 4 points minus the likely save points a keeper under siege may get,,,and if your first cheap keeper fails you get a second chance and then a third
  
  in the group stages my 3 keepers cost £5.0m
  
  you can apply similar reasoning to expensive defenders

    ben is way better than mull in my opinion...this is because the only worthwhile cheap strikers i can see are Algerian...if you have Muller and he fails you will be unable to use your Algerian to cover him
    
    it might be possible to make a plan to get round this but you'll need to think it through carefully

        but messi is a different situation...if you get him your only reserves are BEL-USA and a formation change might allow you a cheap reserve anyway depending which of your players have scored well
        
        I was comparing ben to mull and explaining why the former was better and I stand by what I said

        It's not about comparison, it's about how that alters what you pick.
        
        Having Messi means that the problem with Muller being unreplaceable by an Algerian is negated because you have someone to replace Muller with later if he blanks.

        let me explain it another way:
        
        neymar-rvp-benzema-slimani-messi is better than neymar-rvp-muller-slimani-messi because you can use slimani as a reserve for benzema if neymar and rvp both score
        
        it;s nothing to do with messi
        
        it doesn't matter if slimani scores
        
        (this assumes you rate benzema and muller roughly equal which i do and you clearly don't)

Since we don't have any wildcards i reckon we can't triple up on CRC defenders like how other game can afford to because we don't expect them to go far and we would have to waste 3 transfers on defenders to get them out
