With the start of the domestic football season this month I would also like to remind you about the Pepsi Indian Premier League tournament I’m running this year. For more information about my competition and to take part please click here

Deadlines

I would like to remind all eight captains that the deadline for the Gameweeks is Friday at 8pm. If you have not submitted your team to me then I will randomly pick your team. You must have your team submitted to me by 8pm on Fridays or earlier. During that submission you must also give me the roles of your team members (eg; Player 1/ BAT, Player 2/ WK, Player 3/ BOW, or you can have an all-rounder). Be aware you must select a wicket-keeper and a batsman. You can change the roles each week of you like.

New Rule

I have added an exciting new feature of bonus points. If a batsman or wicket-keeper scores a 50 then he will get one bonus point. If an all-rounder or bowler scores a half-century then he will get two bonus points. If a batsman, wicket-keeper, bowler or an all-rounder scores a 100 then he will get three bonus points.

Fixtures and Results

When the fixtures came out in August the game on everyone’s lips was the game between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Mumbai Indians. It proved a high-scoring game, with the Mumbai Indians posting 213 from their 20 overs. The KKR just fell short, hitting 174 runs from their 20 overs. There was also a high-scoring game in Delhi where the Daredevils posted a huge total of 212 from their 20 overs, their opponents Royal Challengers fell short as they made 194 from 20 overs. There were also wins for Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Both teams won their games, with the CSK beating Kings XI Punjab to win the game by 85 runs and the Royals beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 37 runs

Just to let you know, the fixtures will be updated on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
