With this morning’s revelations (to me at least) that Charlie Adam is a major doubt, I’ve some thinking to do and may need your help. One thing I have decided on is to draft in Cesc Fabregas, what with the Scout Debate, the Scout Picks and the captains poll (55% for the Arsenal man) all indicating that I should.

        Its not season defining (like my Foster v Hahnemann choice) but i've gone with Hahners.

        Wolves are improving and City without tevez.. maybe it'll be 0-0 or he will save a pen or something.

          Yeah, its a risk, in theory it'd require Carroll to outscore Bent by 4 points (home fixture in a derby, Bent not scored in three)

          and Fabregas to outscore Brunt by four (not as clear cut as one might think)

          I guess, otherwise i'd probably just end up doing a double this week and one next.. so it evens out - and i save money

          First hits of the season so i'm not happy about it

          why is no1 thinking about adebayor? proven goal scorer and a chance to shine while tevez is missing.
          i think its a differential punt worth taking bcos not many other will have him. i may even captain him. City beat wolves 0-3 last season.

            i had the exact same problem. i took the extra 4point hit to replace tevez. the way i see it, every1 this week is taking a 8point hit really. so its not too worrying to go 12 this week.

                  Tricky. If no Fabs then easy to choose Nasri.
                  I suspect the stats would show Nasri gets less points when Fabs plays but only 15 mins to deadline so cannot check.
                  Drogs is possibly safer than Carrol.
                  I think Sunderland have 5 clean sheets this season so far

                      I'd keep Krul in goal. Sunderland don't score lots away from home.
                      I'd put in Odem in case he plays. same with Adam. if they play they will do well.
