There still seems to be some confusion amongst the Fantasy Premier League community regarding a number of elements associated with the changes implemented by the game this week.

To clarify matters, we’ve put together a list of points that has, this afternoon, been checked and confirmed by the FPL.

  • Transfers made this week are all free. Any points deducted from your total will be refunded to you once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.
  • Any Wildcards played in advance of Gameweek two will be returned to players once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.

  • The number of transfers you make in advance of Gameweek two’s deadline will be wiped and reset to zero once the deadline passed. This will mean that they will not count against you and become a factor should you be tied on points with a manager in your mini-league.

  • Price rises are frozen ahead of Gameweek two. Once the deadline has passed all transfer totals that are collected by players will be reset. Therefore, players will need to accrue further transfers in and transfers out next week in order to have their price rise or fall.

  • Gameweek one points will remain in the game and count towards the FPL overall points tallies. Mini-league admins can decide to reset their mini-leagues to start on Gameweek two should they wish. In the interest of those managers unable to log in and make changes prior to Gameweek one, Fantasy Football Scout will reset their mini-leagues accordingly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

NZog surely... he's much more influential for Villa and plays much further forward than Ramires.

Although Ramires did have a good game for Chelsea last time out, I don't see him getting many goals or assists as he'll mostly be part of build up play.

so price drops... effected purely by transfers? 11% have ferguson of newcastle at the moment at £4m. I can get him in my side and can manage having him last on the bench but if his price drops then he is out.

Now I imagine those with him dont have him cause he will play, but rather to release cash like me so I dont imagine the 11% will fall a great deal.

    Thoughts?

I'd guess that his price will go down as people who only had him to free up cash will realise that its crazy to have someone who doesnt even play on your bench.

It happens every year where someone gets injured in warm up, is dropped with no prior warning etc.... It's nice to have a MF who might actually score you some points in that scenario.

For me I've splashed 4.5 on Dyer who will at least play and maybe even return some decent points

Look at Given/Vorm rotation... I think Given/Ruddy is better if my memory serves me right... although I think I'll stick with Given for 90% of the games anyway as he's great at saves.

And think Malouda(c) is something I'd chance later in the season, but that's only IMO.

Aguero I think is a bit too early as well.

Suarez has 3 games away in his next 4.

Brown vs Newcasle in the derby could be prone to cards.

I know its early days but boy did Malouda stink against Stoke. I had him in my team (and didnt know about upcoming GW wildcard) and was praying AVB didnt notice how pish poor he was.

Got rid after that. Is probably going to rotate with Kalou, Anelka & Sturridge when back.

silva - but imo the city coverage is probably better coming in the form of aguero even depsite his lack of fitness and potential game time of the next couple of GW's.

Dont see city turning bolton and spurs over so silva's damage could be limited providing a window of opportunity to take this risk, by which point aguero will be the flavour of the month and his stock will have risen.

Tempted especially since the short time both Drogba and Torres were on the pitch they didn't look too bad playing together. I just think RvP is a better all around prospect than Torres and the only Arse coverage you really need at the moment.

I was thinking with Aguero it would be better to hedge my bets and bring in Malouda. Cheers for the advice.

Evening gang. I've drafted the following team but, I think my defence maybe a little weak? I'm also bricking it with Torres in my team, although he did look good against Stoke, so trying to take the positives.

    Given/Vorm

    Kompany/Senderos/Bosingwa (De Laet/Simpson)

    Sess/Osman/Taarabt/Yaya/Moses

    Rooney/Torres(c)/Bent

Leaves me with 1.0 in the bank. Any thoughts guys?

I have a very similar defense (or did until I got all excited about Hilario and got rid of Bosingwa for Jagielka). The risk is that Senderos or Bosingwa may not play; we don't know at this point how nailed on they are. Maybe use .5 of that spare cash to upgrade De Laet to Woodgate; at 4.5 he's good value in an obdurate defence, assuming he doesn't get injured?

Is it just me or did the Forum tab disappear several days ago? As an mini league administrator, if I click on the Administer tab the Forum tab is then shown at the location it used to be before it was hijacked by aliens.

There is a more convoluted way of seeing the forum but, judging by the lack of activity on it since the disappearance of the tab, the other people in my league have not yet discovered it.

I know it is only a minor issue, but I want the tab back and I want it back now. Oh I can feel a sulk coming on.

Your team has a more expensive than most RMTs you see, but I can see the team scoring well.

    Given Vorm
Kompany Senderos S.Taylor Enrique De Laet
    Silva Moses Nzogbia Sinclair Lamps
    Suarez Fletcher Torres
The defence is very rotatable with Kompany and Enrique starting most weeks. Midfield - solid. Strikforce - very good for the upcoming weeks with Torres to Aguero GW 4. Any thoughts/suggestions?
    Thanks

More settled on my team than I have been at any point so far, just still trying to get the idea of captaining Bent out my head and just stick with Lamps. My main reservation is that he'll almost certainly be my captain again next week and if he fails twice I'll feel stupid but at the same time if I'm gonna worry about that I shouldn't be picking him. There, I just convinced myself.

But still, Blackburn's defence is not looking good, Bent could have a field day. Just not sure I trust Villa to score enough to armband him atm.

Who would be the bigest threat of rotation in the Villa defence - L.Young or Warnock, presumably from Clarke ??

Clarke is central defence. Lichaj is backup for Luke Young whereas Warnock has no cover of note, so of the two Warnock is the safer bet.
