There still seems to be some confusion amongst the Fantasy Premier League community regarding a number of elements associated with the changes implemented by the game this week.

To clarify matters, we’ve put together a list of points that has, this afternoon, been checked and confirmed by the FPL.

  • Transfers made this week are all free. Any points deducted from your total will be refunded to you once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.
  • Any Wildcards played in advance of Gameweek two will be returned to players once the Gameweek two deadline has passed.

  • The number of transfers you make in advance of Gameweek two’s deadline will be wiped and reset to zero once the deadline passed. This will mean that they will not count against you and become a factor should you be tied on points with a manager in your mini-league.

  • Price rises are frozen ahead of Gameweek two. Once the deadline has passed all transfer totals that are collected by players will be reset. Therefore, players will need to accrue further transfers in and transfers out next week in order to have their price rise or fall.

  • Gameweek one points will remain in the game and count towards the FPL overall points tallies. Mini-league admins can decide to reset their mini-leagues to start on Gameweek two should they wish. In the interest of those managers unable to log in and make changes prior to Gameweek one, Fantasy Football Scout will reset their mini-leagues accordingly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The rules say that a tie for third place results in both players being awarded 1pt. I guess that's what happened.

No do I SOMETIMES but the last two days has just been a list of them with no answers at all. I have no problems with help with this player or that player, but its just pages and pages of unanswered questions.

We used to have discussions about players, now it seems anyone who had never evn watched a game can just come on here, pick a generic team, then ask for advice on it.

after gw1 I have a serious gap of 30pts to the leader in my league, I need to close ASAP, therefore help is needed 🙂

Will SAHA start from 1st min against QPR? I am considering him as my third striker in a 4-3-3 lineup.
My other options seem to be
    gyan or fletcher

I didn't say he wasnt a BP magnet, he's a very good player in his position for us, but rarely gets the points FPL wise.

It's because he picked up bonus this week, because most of Chelsea's balls out of defense come through him. Bear in mind that in a game that doesn't end 0-0 he'll drop off the radar - and it won't be him who scores.

nobody knows who's going to start. i'd rather have holt for 90 minutes than malouda for 64/torress doing nothing for 88/ drogba for 16 minutes. that was my logic anyway

Why have Hilario if you are not going to play him, will be a transfer out in three/four weeks. Maybe not bother. Obv question marks on Alex and Senderos playing might be a bit of bother. I like the midfield and strikers

a.johnson for holt, then you've got a decent team. Poor subs though, but it shouldn't matter too much, you've made it up in firepower

hilario? get rid he is only temporary.

if adebayor joins do ye reckon he`ll be played upfront alone or
    with defoe/crouch?

when i had vdv last year i hated seeing 2 strikers upfront

    vdv wasnt as effective

Very true needs to be 4-4-1-1 for VDV

When he was on the wing he wasnt very good

Depends on who they're playing. 'Arry favours 4-5-1 but they'll probably play with 2 up top against weaker opposition.

Everton fixtures are pretty kind for next 4-6 GWs, and Saha is their best bet for goals, with poss exception of Cahill. It's not an obsession, merely a sensible calculated gamble.
