Okay, so last week Paddy Power gave us a hiding – it could have been so different had Wigan turned Norwich over in our accumulator but alas, in more ways than one, the Gameweek proved a let down.

A tenner down after Gameweek one, we’ve nonetheless picked ourselves up and we’re back at the counter again, clinging to a fresh tenner and hopes that our heavily fancied Fantasy picks will come good.

Read on for details of what Paddy has up his sleeve for the likes of Leighton Baines, Stephane Sessegnon, Scott Sinclair and Fernando Torres, plus news of this week’s Scout Accumulator and Paddy’s latest Money Back Specials…

Leighton Baines topped the defender rankings last season with assists simply dripping from his delicious left-foot. Everton get a belated start to their season this weekend and are treated to a visit from QPR, fresh from a Loftus Road spanking by Bolton. The Toffee’s are understandably fancied here with Baines ensconced in many a Fantasy lineup. We got Paddy involved and they’ve offered us several bets, including 9/1 on a Baines free-kick goal, 14/1 on him opening the scoring and 18/1 on Baines to provide two assists. We’ll take them up on the latter.

Stephane Sessegnon was flying in pre-season, extending his fine run of form from the tail-end of last term when he filled the striker’s boots so admirably. He’ll be tucked in behind Asamoah Gyan when North East rivals Newcastle arrive at the Stadium of Light, offering very decent value as a midfielder with a potent goal threat. Paddy have him at 6/1 for the first goal and we’ll gladly snaffle those odds. You can also get 17/1 on two goals or more and two assists or more, for those looking to back him further.

While Swansea were somewhat swamped by Man City on Monday, it shouldn’t go unnoticed that Brendan Rodgers’ side had a lot of the ball and played some tidy stuff. Their season starts at the Liberty stadium with Wigan the visitors. Scot Sinclair, as the Swans leading scorer and spot-kick hogger in the Championship, poses a big threat and we’re happy to back him accordingly. Paddy are offering a range of bets again but we like the 20/1 being offered for Sinclair to be fouled in the box and convert the penalty.

Fernando Torres’ career at Stamford Bridge has stalled and is often the subject of ridicule and yet, at the Britannia on Sunday, the Spaniard showed some promise. Buffeted by the Stoke defence, Torres bounced up and proved a menace for the home site. With a porous West Brom defence at the Bridge this weekend, we backed Fernando to come good and handed him a Scout Picks selection. Paddy’s odds of 13/5 for the opening goal is our “flutter of the week” and we’ll back it accordingly. Click here for more Torres bets courtesy of Paddy.

Finally, as always, we’ll throw our remaining quid at a cheeky accumulator. This week we’re opting to back disappointment for three of the big four. We’re taking Paddy up on their odds of 11/1 for United, Chelsea and Arsenal to all slip up and fail to take three points in their games.

Paddy Power’s Money Back Special

There are several options to make the most of Paddy’s generosity this weekend. If any of Arsenal vs Liverpool, Bolton vs Man City and Man United vs Tottenham finishes in a score draw, Paddy will refund all losing 1st/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on that match. Nice.
