With the new Fantasy season almost upon us we thought we’d take the opportunity to take stock and ask a few questions of you – our lovely site visitors. It’s high time that you had your say on the site and having run the thing for over three years, it’s certainly about time we got some serious feedback.

In addition we’ve got some pretty big ideas, including a brand new members area for the coming season. Yeah I know interesting, eh?

So we’ve put together a pre-season survey right here. The survey should only take you five minutes to complete, so hopefully you can fire it up and fill it out during tonight’s half-time break.

There’s even a little incentive. Once you’ve completed the survey, those aged 18 or over can enter into a Free Prize Draw with a £50 credit kindly donated by our sponsors Paddy Power…

We plan to run these survey every summer prior to the new season to help us shape the site for the future and ensure that we’re delivering all you need throughout your Fantasy season. We’d also like to know a little bit more about the crowd that hangs out here although we must stress – the survey is totally anonymous.

One of the key areas of interest this year surrounds a potential members area. This new area of the site would enable us to deliver a new level of content in addition to the free content you see now. We would keep the site as you know it now intact, however we feel that there is potential to offer more even more content. Some of which we’ve been forced to remove in the past.

As many will remember, last season we were instructed to remove our handy Season Ticker tool because this was seen to break the licensing conditions placed on the Premier League fixtures. We’d like to bring it back in its original form but, given that a license would cost several thousands of pounds, we would look to package this in a members area.

Obviously we’d look to provide more than just the ticker, which is why we’re also looking to provide extensive in-depth statistics supplied by Opta. Again, this would involve us purchasing a sizeable license fee to publish such material but again, I feel that such statistics would offer real value to those Fantasy Managers looking to get that crucial edge. You can click here to get more detail on what exactly would be on offer.

There’s a lot of other ideas being considered – many of which you’ll find mentioned in the survey. Just to stress again – this would all be additional content. The site you know now will remain the same. The members area would simply be that extra gravy on top for those who want to sign up.

It would be a brave new world for Fantasy Football Scout, so we want your views. No doubt you have some and while we welcome comments here, please take time to carry out the survey first.

Get started right here.
