Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

Considering switching out Barton for Ferguson. Feel the Scot offers a more steady stream of points, which is what i need from my dirt-cheap-midfield-sub. Anyone got something better?

  Had Feguson first half of the season. Albrighton might be a decent shout now he's bag. Tough fixtures but will outscore Ferguson. I've got Jarvis at the moment for Wolves' decent run.

    Balotelli replaced Silva in my lineup, and Gyan's recent run as a starter can't be ignored anymore.

    Milijas will get back in the points once wolves stop playing 6 defenders.

Have I missed something with Lamps here? As my memory recalls, he was playing a much more restricted role for Chelsea earlier on this season and not getting too many points to boot...

He seems to be being banded about a lot on here, just wondering if I've missed something? Seems an extortionate price to pay for a player that hasn't set the world alight at all this year in FPL terms...

    Yeah, fair point.
    
    Still reckon that where they were playing him, he was much less of an attacking threat than usual. I only note this because I had him in as captain at the time.
    
    Opening 2 games - Chelsea scored 12 goals
    Lampard got 1 out of these 12, assisting 1 more. In neither game did he pick up a single Bonus Point.
    
    He was outscored by Malouda, Drogba, Anelka and Mikel over the games, making him the 5th most prominent attacking force out of the Chelsea front 6.
    
    Maybe I'm over-reading into this, but I really do seem to remember many folk on here talking about how Ancelotti was now playing him in a fashion where he would become not worthwhile as an FPL choice.

Hey chaps,

You're welcome to peruse my team. I have 4.3 million to spend, and am thinking VDV needs to be transferred out (injuries and lots of fixtures for Spurs).

I was thinking Gamst Pederson in for VDV (good fixtures and even more cash), or would you suggest Liverpool/Man City midfielders (none really shine tho).

feel in no man's land with this weeks fixtures.Happily chop Bos, KToure, Jarvis or Arshavin. Got £2.9m in bank. Cahill, Ethers maybe. Need a big hitter as I feel many players will cancel themselves out this week
