Birmingham City seem set to face an unlikely “Treble Gameweek” following the confirmation that their clash at with Everton at Goodison, postponed from Boxing Day, has been rescheduled for February 23.

This would appear to place the fixture in Gameweek 27 – a programme that begins on February 12. Birmingham already have a double fixture in this Gameweek, with two “attractive” home games against Stoke and Newcastle on February 12 and 15 respectively…

The trip to Everton currently depends on Birmingham’s progress in the Carling Cup, should they make it past West Ham to the final, the Goodison clash would move to March 9, handing them a double in Gameweek 29; they are set to face West Brom at St Andrews in this Gameweek. Qualifying for the final will however also mean the postponement of Birmingham’s Gameweek 28 fixture away at Chelsea, giving them a blank on the schedule (so that’d be two doubles sandwiching a missing week). Not the worst one to miss but a situation that needs keeping an eye on.

Fantasy Managers need to stay alert then – while Birmingham have been far from a reliable source of talent, three fixtures in a single Gameweek would surely make their assets irresistible, with Ben Foster and the likes of Scott Dann and Liam Ridgewell looking particularly attractive at the back. Further forward we would need to be wary of rest and rotation – finding an attacking player likely to turn out for all three games would be tricky, but certainly “Bonus darling” Barry Ferguson will be on the Watchlist ahead of Gameweek 27 and perhaps David Bentley, a potential new arrival this week, may also attract some early attention.

We should point out that although the Premier League have confirmed the date of this fixture – the Fantasy Premier League game is yet to place the rescheduled game. A reshuffle of the Gameweeks looks unlikely, although it may well be something the FPL are considering. We will update you via the tweets as soon as confirmation is in place.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Completely and utterly OT, not just of fantasy footie, but also footie in general...

But if anyone wants any £2 blu-rays/dvds check out your local vue cinema.

Some of them (check this link: http://pop247.com/) have vending machines in them selling BRs/dvds. Think the company is going bust, as everything is £2.

Just bought Robin Hood/inglorious basterds/green zone/moon for £2 each on blu ray.

(not spamming, but was so suprised at how cheap they were, thought I'd share)

Long time lurker, first time poster. I hope I linked my team correctly in my profile, if not, my apologies. Anyways, on to the two teams:

    Stockdale/Gordon
    Foley/Coleman/Bardsley/Hangeland/Rafeal
    Lampard/Fabregas/Adam/Nani/VdV
    OdemW/Varney/Tevez

Exciting midfield, sets me up for the DGWS fairly well, and a very solid defense. Notice I'm not saying anything about the front line, it sucks.

    Stockdale/Gordon
    Foley/Coleman/Bardsley/Hughes/Rafeal
    Nzog/Fabs/Adam/Nani/VdV
    RVP/Berbs/DZEKO

Slightly less exciting midfield, DGWs are good, Defense stays relitively the same, and the front line is a huuuuuuuuge gamble but so ridiculously fun to look at.

I have disassembled and reassembled this team 100 times over the past 2 days. Any comments or complete reconstructions are appreciated. I'm in first place in my mini-league by a decent GW or so...and this is my 2nd year playing. Thanks everyone!

Berbatov won't be played every game which wouldn't be too bad but the amount of gametime Dzeko gets could be anywhere. Two risky forwards is slightly too risky.

Midfield is decent just like your defence.

True but Striker is the most urgent position needed to be filled. Defoe is quality...when you're 4-0 up against Wigan. Crouch's hold up play and passing is shocking but he is a good impact sub for his physical presence. Pav , well Pav's shit.
I actually like the way ya play, it must be frustrating that it breaks down so much around the final third. Luis Fabiano would have probably helped ye win the league.
