It’s the FA Cup final today. Either a great topping on a successful season for Tony Pulis’ Stoke side or another step in the right direction for Roberto Mancini and his Citizens. Before all that though, we’ve got some Fantasy Football to engross ourselves in as today’s four Premier League games all kick-off at 12:45.

Perhaps most pressingly of all, Manchester United chase the single point required to win their record nineteenth league title. The Dugout Discussion is open and full line-ups are just a click of your heels away…

Blackburn XI: Robinson; Salgado, P. Jones, Samba, Givet; Emerton, N’Zonzi, J. Jones, Olsson; Hoilett, Roberts.

Man United XI: Kuszczak; Fabio, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans; Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Nani; Rooney, Hernandez.

Sir Alex Ferguson starts the predicted rotation ahead of the coming Champions League final with Edwin Van Der Sar and good friends Patrice Evra and Park Ji-Sung both afforded a little rest. Jonny Evans, Thomas Kuszczak and Nani come in. Blackburn still very much in the relegation dogfight recall Michel Salgado and Phil Jones in place of Morten Gamst Pedersen and Mame Diouf.

Blackpool XI: Gilks; Eardley, Evatt, Baptiste, Crainey; Southern, Adam, Vaughan; Taylor-Fletcher, Campbell, Puncheon.

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen; Steinsson, Knight, Cahill, Robinson; Lee, Muamba, Gardner, Taylor; Kevin Davies, Sturridge.

Blackpool and Bolton each make a solitary change from their last games with Ricardo Gardner and Jason Puncheon coming in for Johan Elmander (not even on the bench) and Sergey Kornilenko respectively in this crucial game for the Tangerines.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet; Elmohamady, Mensah, Onuoha, Bardsley; Henderson, Riveros, Colback, Zenden; Malbranque; Sessegnon.

Wolves XI: Hennessey; Foley, Craddock, Mancienne, Elokobi; Guedioura, Henry, O’Hara, Hunt; Fletcher, Ward.

Sunderland’s injury ravaged side make just one change from that which won at Bolton as Cristian Riveros comes in for Anton Ferdinand. Wolves are the only unchanged side of the day as they look to build on their victory over West Brom last week and pull away from the relegation zone.

West Brom XI: Carson; Reid, Olsson, Tamas, Shorey; Mulumbu, Scharner; Brunt, Cox, Thomas; Odemwingie.

Everton XI: Howard; Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Coleman, Heitinga, Neville, Arteta; Osman; Anichebe.

The Baggies, now reveling in safety, are afforded a few changes from last week as injuries & suspensions clear with Gabriel Tamas, Stephen Reid, Chris Brunt and Paul Scharner returning to the starting outfit. Everton make just one change from the victory of this afternoon’s cup finalists and recall Seamus Coleman in place of Jack Rodwell.

An early affair today that’ll see the Fantasy Premier League bonus judges handing out their medals long before the victorious side at Wembley receive theirs. The Dugout Discussion is here to take in all of the day’s action.

        Yeah, end of next season.

Apparently Alexis Sanchez and Gary Cahill are the two players at the top of their list.

Not too bothered by either of those

Saw him at the World Cup, thought he was crap.

Greedy, always does too many step-overs and doesn't release the ball quick enough.

in fairness that would've been a bad decision (but you would've got lucky)

newcastle home to west brom next game, and blackpool at old trafford. So it was hard to say adam was likely to get 4 points more than barton over the 2 games.

But Bolton's form hasn't been any better* with Sturridge in the side, it may even be worse. He's so selfish and takes so many shots that he'll undoubtedly score a few goals!

I know most people do not do the Teleg but some general advice would be great.
After today my rival has closed to just 5 points behind me. Got one transfer left. if i do it tonight I will score points tomorrow. Any suggestions how to keep ahead?????
    My team
    Hart
    Luis Baines Huth
    VDV Arshavin Nani Young Silva
    RVP Bent

    Rival
    Gomez
    Ivanovic Cole Coleman Kompany
    VDV Nasri Mereles
    RVP Sturridge

Ideally I wouldnt get rid of someone whoes gonna bring points in tomorrow!
    a) Baines/Nani > Maxi/Nzog/ivanovic/Cole
    b) Arshavin > Kuyt
    c) Bent > Suarez
    d) wait till Tuesdays match to bring in Tevez/Yaya/Man c defender

I very much doubt fergie is going to play a completely terrible team.. the likes of owen, berbatov etc should get a run out, and giggs/ a few others will be rested,

but 6 days is plenty of time so there's no reason at all for fergie to rest everyone. In some cases he'd probably prefer they got a bit of extra game time

    RE Kolarov.

Comparison with Baines and Cole, in most peoples opinions the 2 best Left Backs this season.

    Duels (Won/Total)
    Kolarov - 100/198 (Aerial = 14/34) ((51% + 41%)
    Cole - 166/309 (Aerial = 18/43) (54% + 42%)
    Baines - 179/327 (Aerial = 27/43) (55% + 62%)

    Tackles (Won/Total)
    Kolarov - 29/40 (72.5%)
    Cole - 63/73 (86%)
    Baines - 61/82 ((74%)

    Crossing (Successful/Unsuccesful)
    Kolarov - 9/74 (12%)
    Cole - 19/81 (23%)
    Baines - 67/175 (38%)

Exactly, so it's not *that* bad!

The crossing statistic is massively down to the fact that City's forward line is so small, and they don't get too many players into the box. He's got a much better delivery than Ashley Cole does.

the problem is, as you mentioned, most of us dont play the telegraph game... so no way i could give you any decent advice.

OK well if it's that general, check the watchlist on the right, and just in general look on this site because people will talk a lot about best players to sign for final week.

I don't know the Teleg game but surely it makes sense to get rid of a player you know has scored badly for one that may score well. I'd do Nani as he probably won't play next week.

That would make sense as you say as theres a possibility Arsh and Bent might (unlikely) score good points. Who do you think will do best out of Nzog, maxi, ivanovic,Cole.
        Its 5 points a goal,
        3 for an assist
and 4 for a clean sheet.

Mmm SAF might want a fresh Nani on the bench for the final though. Dont you think hes likely to name a reserve team with a few of the less fancy regulars playing?

Literally today Everton's tactics throughout the whole game was get it to the left side, to Baines who would cross it in the box. I know he is a good player but pretty shocking tactics when all they had in the box was Anichebe, who is absolutely terrible.

Yup, suppose it works to an extent when Cahill plays sadly.

Best moment of the match was when the Everton fans sang to us 'You've never won f*ck all'. Yet we actually beat them in the 1968 FA Cup final, don't even know their own history. 🙂

    Team A:

    Foster
    G Johnson / R Johnson / A Cole
    Lampard (C) / Yaya / N'ZOgbia / Van D Vaart
    RVP
2 already played with Defoe / Walker / Ameobi on bench

    Team B:

    Al Habsi
    Luiz / Flanagan / Kolorov
    Lampard / Yaya / Kuyt
    RVP / Carroll / Balotelli
1 played with Coleman / Van D Vaart / Walters on bench

This isn’t the first time Neville and Gallagher have enjoyed a bit of banter. The defender once sent Gallagher a guitar over for him to sign, only for it to come back with the words "Happy Birthday knobhead. MCFC" written on it.
