As the scrap for survival enters the final four Gameweeks of the season, today’s Members article assesses the top performers from the bottom five sides over each side’s respective last four fixtures. Using our own ICT Index and the Opta stats available, we analyse the top five from each of the relegation candidates, assessing their form and the potential offered ahead of what will prove to be a frantic finish to the 2011/12 Premier League campaign. As luck would have it, this also doubles up as an assessment of those players in form amongst the ranks of Villa and Bolton – those teams with two fixtures in Gameweek 35…

    Morning all- TFI friday!

I need some Spurs for DGW but at the moment can't afford Bale or vDv without losing RVP or Rooney- I'm currently looking at

McLean & RVP out for Petrov and Tevez and -4 this week

then next week could ditch Tevez for say Crouch or Jelavic, and do Sess to Bale/vDv for -4 again

what do we reckon? Other option is Sess and McLean out for Petrov and Lennon and keep Rooney and RVP?

    Cheers

rooney and sess out for ade and bale/vdv next week for free. 4pt hit mcclean to hba if you want. or you could do the rooney to tevez this week (don't do mcclean to petrov thats a waste of a hit) and then take an extra hit next week....

He's one of the all time greats, but 10 dvd's sound a bit much for me too.

I suppose there could be 1 dvd of milan time, 1 for inter, 1 for juve, 1 for bologna, 1 for azzurri etc.

Hey, contemplating adding a Chelsea player or too to my side, issue is that they're likely to get frequent rotation with Champions league semis and cup final. I it worth ago? Thinking Sturridge as he's a decent price. Thoughts?

I think he stands a good chance of playing in the Cup Final actually. In fact, I fancy him to start tomorrrow and then one of the DGW so probably not worth the risk. £6.7m mid though who is pretty much a forward.

Mata has been far more destructive in a central role and offers such little defensive cover when wide that I would be surprised if this happens.

only players that might not be rotated are defenders but i think qpr that will be fighting for their lives and newcastle that are fighting for a champions league spot will be tough matches especially considering by then they will have played spurs, barca, arsenal, barca before that and have pool (x2) after that.

Yeah, I'm going to wait and see how Rooney does this weekend. Everton are without Baines so I'm curious to see how he'll do. I'm a little worried about not having more City coverage against Wolves, but I'm not in the mood for taking hits at this stage in the season.

Totally agree, if I got a city striker in I would only want him out again next week.
Plus it would be for a hit.
Meaning he would need to make back the 4 for the hit and anything that Roon/RVP got if I took them out for him. And it would cost a slot that a DGW player could have.

Anyone else considering Ciaran Clark this week? A genuine OOP with 2 home DGW. Although his attacking threat is quite restricted he has picked up 1 goal, 2 assists in 9 starts, most of which were tougher games than these.

3 home clean sheets all season, 1 in the last 26 gameweeks.
Has played 63 minutes of the last 10 games and hasn't scored a goal? (in the PL at least)

He has been injured for the last 10 games but cam straight back in at United. Sunderland and Bolton at home is about as good as a DGW gets and surely Villa will be up for these. Admittedly, it is easier for me as I will be binning him next week with Wildcard but still a decent punt at £4.5m regardless.

It's just Villa have looked so awful, he's listed as a doubt on FPL, will he be able to play 2 games in 4 days given he probably isn't match fit?
Though could both be boring 0-0 draws mind you

I just feel Wigan might make a fight of it again vs Fulham and if Pog is back then it could result in Clint being further back?

this pog back business isnt a valid reason. dempsey scored 2 goals at home to wolves with him in the team. he got a blank against swansea too but the whole fulham team were shit that day and thats the only home game in the last 7 he hasnt got something

Can I improve on the following defensive line-up for the run-in

    Collins/Cahill/Evans/Simpson/Jagielka

It gives me the following back-three

    GW35: Collins(SUN/EVE), Evans(EVE), Simpson (STO)
    GW36: Cahill(QPR/NEW), Jags(FUL/sto), Simpson(wig/che)
    GW37: Cahill(Liv), Evans(SWA), Jags(wol)
    GW38: Cahill(BLA),Jags(NEW),Evans(sun)

Any obvious improvements you can see?
