Sunday Dugout Discussion

Yet again both Manchester clubs in are involved in Sunday Premier League action. With most fantasy managers cheering on their captain today, the Dugout Discussion opens to follow all the action from the three games on show.

We start at Old Trafford as United look to open up an eight point gap with a victory against Everton. The team news from the match-up is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Man United XI: De Gea, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Nani, Rooney, Welbeck.

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Neville, Osman, Heitinga, Gibson, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Nani returns to United’s starting eleven for the first time in eight games, with Ashley Young taking his place on the substitutes bench. Facing his former employer, Darron Gibson starts for Everton.

Then it’s over to bottom of the league Wolves, where City are in town needing three points regardless of the earlier result. Kicking off at the same time, Liverpool and West Brom are also in action, with Roy Hodgson back at Anfield for the first time since departing as Liverpool manager.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

He really needs to leave, I was a fairly excited neutral when he went there with him spending a lot of money and putting his own team together I expected a pretty exciting season from Liverpool.

Instead Liverpool have played pretty poorly all season and then the whole Suarez affair has left me disliking Liverpool to a degree, crying shame for a club and a fan base that deserve so much more.

Agree with all of this Grim. Although I wasn't happy with how quickly they turfed out Hodgson I expected better from Kenny and the players. Really has been very poor and, even being a United fan, I like Liverpool to be playing well. Adds to the drama of the league which is always good fun! They need him gone but they'd look foolish if they get rid of him after how they acted with Roy.

        Newcastle sacked him.

Undoubtably he was a world class player, but he inherited a world class LFC team when he was player / manager. I could have taken that team to the double.

He is stupid going back, tarnishing his name... Same happens to keegan, with his 2nd stint at Newcastle.

Would you play Mignolet (h) to Bolton or Schwarzer @ Everton + Liverpool?

I'm playing Schwarzer instead of Vorm, but it's mainly due to me being a sucker for a double.

Good enough for everyone that bought tevez. One good game against a Norwich side that let him walk through them. To get rid of Rooney was a grave error and you will learn from your mistakes.

Correct so it wasn't the bringing Tevez in that was wrong but who you swapped him for. Rvp is dead for the season

I know. I got Aguero so that lessened the blow. Was trying to chase 62pts so I would have made the same move again if I could rewind time.

Could I get some opinions on Ben arfa -> VDV and Tevez -> Cisse. No hit and to get Cisse I would have to get rid of simpson Krul or Ben Arfa

    Pick one of these..

    A) Baines, McClean & Yak -> Cahill, Pienaar & Jelavic

    OR

    B) Baines, Yak & Tevez -> Cahill, Cisse & Jelevic

    The current team:
    Krul (Mignolet)
    Caulker Turner BAE (Verm Evans)
    Dempsey Siggy McClean Valencia (Walcott)
    Cisse Rooney RvP

2 FT, thinking Walcott, RvP and Valencia / McClean -> VdV, Jelavic and HBA.

    Thoughts?
