Sky Sports Stats Tables Live

As promised, our Sky Sports Stats tables are now live and available in our Members Area. These new tables can be found under Player Stats, with the additional button giving access to tables that list the key stats that govern the Sky Sports Fantasy Football bonus points.

For those who haven’t noticed the rule change in the Sky Sports game, players now earn 2 points for achieving 60+ successful passes in a match, with a further 2 points awarded for players winning four or more tackles. The game will use Opta data to award these bonus points.

In our stats tables you can view Successful Passes and Tackles Won for last season’s players and we’ve added tables that record the number of bonus points players would have been awarded based on this data. We’ve broken these down into passes and tackles, added an overall bonus total column and included a minutes per bonus stat so you can assess players according to time played.

As with all our stats, you can filter these by a series of intervals, including last four matches, last four Gameweeks and Home and Away matches.

Of course, we’ll be running these tables next season so you’ll be able to apply these filters to the stats as things progress to spot those players taking advantage of the new bonus rules.

Right now, this data is not available in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game or anywhere else – only our members have access to these stats.

We’ll be following this up with a full in-depth article for members, analysing the trends that these tables reveal and identifying the likely targets, in terms of bonus points, for the coming season.

If you’re yet to register for the Sky Sports game, you can do so here. Please note, the game is only available to those in the UK and Ireland.

The overall winner of the Sky Sports Fantasy game gets £25,000. Our league is entitled FFScout and our PIN code is 8004519: we have a home cinema system worth £600 up for grabs for the winner.

If you want access to these new stats and want details on becoming a member, click here for instructions on signing up and more details on what’s on offer.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Im on Lamps at the moment. I'll wait till the community shield though. I really do not think Mata willb e given a run out the first gameweek, there are plenty of MFs to choose from.

Mind says get Lampard: Consistent, on set pieces, guaranteed 90 mins.
Heart says get Hazard: Potentially more explosive. Putting him as (C) would just make my end GW score incredibly pretty.

Yeah sorry, Mahamadou. I don't know much about him but he's an aggressive DM assured of starts!

Haha to be honest I think this is my excuse not to pick him- it's a FFS bandwagon destined to fail. But seriously, I don't think he'll cut it in the Prem. His stats aside from goalscoring are poor and I don't think he'll be given so much time and space to get his shot away.

I'm having Baines from the get go. I explained it earlier but it got lost in a page somewhere.

2.5 Goals and 6 Assists for the season puts him among the top points per £m defenders in the game, and higher than any other £7.0m defender.

I think with Jelavic, Pienaar, Naismith and Gibson in the mix the above estimate is conservative, and he's more likely to finish with something like 4 Goals and 9 Assists, which would put him way out in front as the best value defender in the game.

You have to play 3 defenders every game which makes him even better value, and the points you're hoping for are coming from attacking returns making him fixture proof for selection.

        I'm sold.

    RMT?

    Week 1
    Fed
    Lescott/Vermaelen/Baines
    Bale/Mata/Pienarr/Noble
    Aguero/Torres/Pog

    Bench
    Jussi/Evra/Dawson (WBA)/Ireland

I'm doing the ESPN one so the prices are a little different. Fed and Jussi will rotate with whoever is home (16 out of first 19 are home between the two). Plan on starting Vermaelen and Baines every week regardless of fixture. Lescott and Evra will rotate with whoever is home. Dawson (WBA) will never get in but he's a 4.0 defender on espn; just needed someone cheap. Bale/Mata/Pienarr will start every week regardless of fixture. Last spot in midfield will rotate between Noble and Ireland (18 out of 19 home games). Standard Torres to Roon pig after week 2. Also thought about Michu instead of Pienarr (costs .9 less in espn game, would give me plenty in the bank for Torres---Roon and Pog---?). Was thinking about Mata to Cazorla for week 3. Will switch Pog to Graham/Petric/Lambert at some point depending on form 9maybe before week 3). What do you guys think?

Have you seen how tightly packed their fixture schedule is? Di Matteo would be silly not to rotate with the plentiful midfield resources he has at had.

Also, there is no stand-out choice for me as anyone of those could score/assist- it is true of any midfield, maybe, but especially Chelsea's as the AMs are more free-flowing.

Honestly think the gold stat judging the ranks is stupid. If anything they should introduce a points system. 3 for gold. 2 for silver and 1 for bronze. That is effectively saying if you achieve second or third place you are useless.

So whats the point of second and third place then if its not counted on the rankings.

If one nation gets 1 gold. and a second nation get 30 silver but no gold but it is still ranked below is fairly ridiculous?

I was chatting with me Dad today, we were reminiscing about games we had been to together. We used to go over from Ireland to England a lot in the 80s and 90s for matches, mostly Liverpool or United games (he's a huge United fan).
One game was a bit different and involved a trip to London when we got to see Maradona and basically every star performer from the 86 WC.
Looked it up on the net and was amazed to see that it was 25 years ago..to the day!

The goalkeeper pricing is a bit brilliant innit? So far I had two seasons where having reina, cech or edwin on a good run of fixtures was like starting each gw with 6 points, and cs's for the cheapies were rare unpredictable. Then 3 seasons with cheap rotating pairs the most efficient tactic.
No cheap gems this year just heaps of mid price high risk/reward options for 10.0, Hart for 11.0 or the one doing my head in, ddg and his moderate risk/high reward scenario.
Imo its the most crucial thing to get right for gw1, those free trades gotta be used in attack. Leaning towards ddg/jaask. What are yous thinking?

Two £4.5m's. Last years late loss off cs's has put me right off... £9m, hope for some save point's and any cs is a bonus.

Foster and Mignolet for me. I really fancy MON and Clarke to keep those teams tight at home this season. Great(ish) rotation and *only* 10m.

I'm thinking that many here at FFS are taking the idea of having 2 big hitters up front (Aguero and Rooney) a bit too far. How many RMTs have we seen that don't pave the way for Torres to Rooney? There was a stretch last year when Ba was essential and a viable captain's choice. The same can be said for Pappis Cisse when he arrived.

Consider City's away fixtures for the first 19 GW:

liv sto ful wba whu che wig new sun

Then, consider the possibilities if you roster both Bale and Dempsey for the stretch of 19 GW. You could line yourself up with the following for City's away fixtures where you're only giving Aguero the away armband at Fulham and at Wigan. Not too shabby:

WBA WBA ful AVL WIG WHU wig qpr SOU

Consider the same scenario with Rooney as the focal point...or other MF heavy hitters. Toss Cisse/Jelly/Suarez into the mix once their fixtures and form are more nailed on. It isn't imperative that anyone has both Aguero and Rooney and I guess I'm puzzled why a majority are trying desperately to make it work. So that your captain choice is a no-brainer?

There is a lot of merit to going with one of Aguero/Rooney/RVP, an 8.5 - 9.5 second option, and Graham/Petric. The midfield is significantly stronger and if you play the transfer game right, you can set yourself up with favorable form and fixtures.

I guess I'm just surprised that I see so much group think going on here.

I realise Tevez has the same fixtures as Aguero (d'oh) but that extra bit of cash is VERY useful

It's funny you say that. I actually had Tevez and was able to afford Mata with it. But then I thought about the points I should be able to get with Tevez and Mata (I predict around 280), and while it sounds good, Tevez won't be a player who plays the full 90 week in week out. Yet if I get Aguero, yes it means I can only afford a Sinclair, I will probably end up with more points over the long run (300+ points) and I now have two players who are more likely to play the full 90 and a good captaincy choice.

It has to be Aguero for me

You're talking like you have to keep these players for 38 gameweeks. I'm just picking the team i think will get off to the best start and i see no reason why Tevez won't match Aguero (assuming he starts of course!)

Saying that i obviously wouldn't talk anyone out of getting Aguero. He's class but i just think the extra cash is worth going for Tevez.

PS: i may have completely changed my mind by this time next week 🙂

              yes, Yes, YES.

This analysis of players 'over the season' is a bit misguided. How many players will you truly have all season? One? Two, tops?

Indeed, and they are likely to be a 4.5 bench warmers who you can't shift or a goalkeeper

That's my fwd line at the mo.

And what you see is - largely - newbs looking for help and willing to go with the general thinking. I'd wager that many have alternate plans for their team ... they just don't RMT every 22 minutes.

for me aguero has to be in. His ability, captainability, opening fixtures and high ownership means ya need him so he can't hurt ya. Rooney I'm not fussed about yet
