Having analysed the stand out Fantasy performers over the past few fixtures in our recent articles for members, we turn our attentions to team data this time round. In the first instalment of a two-part series, we look at Attacking intent across the last six Gameweeks, assessing the key statistics available in our members section:

For any United fans, apparently Wilfried Zaha had a stormer today for Palace, with 3 assists, prompting Holloway to say:
"In front of the England manager, I thought Wilf [Zaha] was excellent. We have a few who make a difference - he is one of them. This was as good as he has played since I have been here.
"He is literally as good as any chef I have seen, and he has roasted their full-backs all day and they will be glad to see the back of him."Open Controls-

Slightly off topic but do news agencies in the UK charge to use their websites? Newspaper sales around the world are plummeting because viewing News online is easier. Was wondering if charging for news online has been effective
Open Controls-
Times and FT charge - Indie, Guardian and Telegraph are free
Open Controls-
Hmm. It would seem charging would be next to useless of rival agencies don't do the same thing.
Open Controls-
yeah and it will never become widespread in the UK because the BBC will always be free because they are publicly funded and the Guardian will always stay free as they run at a loss subsidized by a charitable foundation.
Open Controls
-
-
-
very few do, think the times is maybe the only major one. new york times has done it though recently, and seemingly it's been pretty successful, so we may see more following their model.
Open Controls -
The Times is the only one I can think of, all other agencies have their online content for free. However pretty much all the major newspapers charge a subscription fee for their iPad apps.
Open Controls
-
Why do people think Dzeko is nailed. Surely will be rotated alot with Tevez?
Open Controls-
This. Aguero FTW.
Open Controls-
Scored 10 more points than Aguero in the last 7 weeks, and has a far higher goals per minute ratio, not to mention being almost 3 million cheaper.....how does Aguero FTW work exactly?
Open Controls-
Just don't like getting players with a hint of rotation and Dzeko for me is far less nailed on than Kun. I'm probably judging his prospects too much on last season when he was very explosive and hoping for that to re-emmerge again.
Open Controls
-
-
-
That's been said for a while now, and yet Dzeko remains. I think there's been trouble a'brewing in the City camp involving a certain Argentine midget.
Open Controls -
Dzeko is a beautiful man, Tevez not so, case settled 🙂

Been taking a bit of a break from here the last few days, has there been any update or news on the comments system changes?? A link to or explanation of any changes would be much appreciated :D!
Open Controls-
You missed a big chunk from Mark and a few regulars on page 2 (or 1). You should find it useful.
Open Controls -
Mark explains them on the last page
Open Controls -
-
See, under the new system, that stuff will be stickied and easy to find 😉
Open Controls-
Where will the sticky posts be displayed?
Open Controls-
The thinking is that they'll be highlighted in the thread and flagged in a sidebar widget. You can also "View Stickies" in a thread which will filter and only show those comments flagged as sticky.
Open Controls-

Admin and scouts. We might allow posters with a high rep to as well.

mark, is there a site out there that we might be familiar with that has more or less the system you're looking to implement?

Following on from discussion (if we can call it that) about Cardiff City. If they get promoted I wondered if they might play some of the "bigger" home games at the Millennium Stadium? Probably not, but its just a thought
Open Controls-
I doubt they would. I'd like them to come up, a Wales derby would add a lot to the PL
Open Controls -
Doubt it. I hope they don't either; a sacred rugby ground should be kept exclusively for that sport. Likewise Murrayfield and Twickenham. T'was a sad site when the Welsh football team used to play there and it was 1/3rd full
Open Controls-
The majority of England's home international games (and large domestic cup games) were played there before Wembley re-opened, so it wouldnt be a new thing having football there.
Open Controls-
I know and I didn't like it at all. Likewise if rugby (union) was played and Wembley, or Hampden
Open Controls-
If they can have motor racing and rock concerts and Wembley, I see no reason (other than the existance of twickenham) that they shouldn't play Rugby there.
Open Controls
-
-
-
It wasn't a third full when the Welsh football team was doing well
Open Controls-
When on Earth was that?!?!?! 😆
Open Controls
-
-
-
not sure that would be allowed even. not sure if there's a precedent
Open Controls -
The stadium is built with a view to increasing capacity. The structure is in place to add a tier over the concourse so we can increase capacity by at least 8000 with no issue

Usually i'm more than happy to have a little week off as and when necessary but this one seems very ill-timed. Can't wait for tomoro and then next week to roll around. May have something to do with my first miserable week in 7 or 8...
Open Controls -
How are the Scout Picks looking?
Open Controls -
With this new comments system and its "+1" and "-1" voting up/down system, I wonder if people will be able to see who has voted their comments up or down? I hope not as this could lead to a lot of bad blood. I hope the new system doesn't lead to "cliquiness" (if that's a word)
Open Controls-
-
I would be willing to bet that you cannot see who voted you up/down....
Open Controls -
I agree anonymity would be the ideal. I also wonder if its perhaps not a good idea to have some peoples votes worth more than others due to 'reputation' if clique's get carried away.
Open Controls-
Have a look at stack overflow's comment system...It should be something like that. So many factors come to play, it eventually balances out. Don't worry, I really think it will be fine.
My only worry about this commenting system is that the RMT will be downvoted really fast...This system will not help casuals (non-regulars)......Basically if you post regarding an RMT, people will reply, but when some gravless guy does it, he may not even get a reply. It will be down-voted so fast.Open Controls-
some sort of poll feature might help that so instead of a full RMT people could ask specific questions and I imagine regulars would be more willing to respond to a poll then a plain text question.
Open Controls-
Lots of pseudo-rmt's are phrased in a poll type way though, with the "vote A for x player/combination of players, B for Y player/combination of players, and these tend to get answered quite a lot, people just aren't bothered reading full RMT's a lot of the time, especially when pages are moving so fast.
Open Controls-
I agree - but these are more helpfull anyway. Whenever I reply to a RMT I end up telling people to make wholesale changes - which is rarely usefull as they probably only have 1FT, so a poll type question make mores sense.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Well hopefully high rep users won't downvote RMT - plus one up vote from a mod tips the balance back anyway.

I've been a bad boy 🙁

He could be onto something there. Maybe he could call his midfield something catchy like 'The Power 5' perhaps? Might catch on?

Looks good.
Maybe get a United defender in there for the next 4 fixtures.

Looking at Bego-DDG and Sagna-Wilson next few weeks can't afford Sagna-Evans

So I've had "Knight and Day" on in the background. It could well be the worst film I've ever seen. Anyone seen anything worse?
Open Controls-
disaster movie
a proper disasterOpen Controls-
I liked Epic Movie.
Open Controls
-
-
Yes the Goatman Murders never get that time in my life back, avoid at all costs
Open Controls -

Never seen it but having a film on 'in the background' is not the best way to judge tbf...
Open Controls -
Anything with Jennifer Aniston in it.
But yeah, Knight and Day is especially terrible.Open Controls-
And anything post-I'm Gonna Git You Sucker with any of the Wayans brothers in it.
Open Controls -
but you get to look at jennifer aniston in it and thats enough for me
Open Controls -
Or Jennifer Lopez. I had the grave misfortune to see 'Maid in Manhatten'.
Open Controls-
Dear lord! Why????

I though derailed was watchable.
The good girl was dire.

"the time machine", if only i could turn back the clock and not watch it. 🙁

Land of The Lost with Will Ferrell, or "Knowing" with Nicholas Cage, 2 worst films I've ever seen....

Limitless is one of few that made me walk out on it.
Open Controls-
Loads of my mates loved it, thought it was terrible myself..
Open Controls-
The scene leading to the ice rink was the final straw. Conceptually it was interesting but it got so dumb in places.
Open Controls

-
Awful film.
Awesome book. Well worth a read. The film misses loads and TOTALLY screws up by changing the entire final thirdOpen Controls
-
-
Saw 1 was pretty bad
Open Controls-
Horrible, depressing film, yet so popular.
Open Controls -
I liked it. Two was mediocre. 3 onwards made me wish i was one of jigsaw's victims instead of watching the dross
Open Controls
-
Worst film ever is Repo Chick - filmed entirely in front of a green screen. Truly unbearably awful.
Open Controls -
The Revenge of Killer Tomatoes sticks in the memory, still there was a subtle warning in the title 😉
Open Controls-
And that it was an early clooney film

Open Controls -
Only 2 more places to go until 1337.
Open Controls-
Are you entered?
Open Controls-
Nah, I haven't been very consistent this year.
Open Controls-
If you are ranked 1337th, consistency isn't important.

Open Controls

Just read over the comments section update posts, really pleased to find out there won't be a rep count or whatever it's called next to a user's name, that was probably my only reservation about any changes. All looks good, looking forward to it now :D!
Open Controls -
I don't get the need for a voting system to clean up the site, seems so simple to me... If enough people report a post and the mods think they were justified then they get a warning. If it happens again they are out. Sorted
Open Controls-
Is it possible for those posters to return under a different identity?

Just curious, but what's everyone's forward line?
RVP alongside....Open Controls -
When things change on a board or forums some welcome it some don't want the change, providing they are user friendly changes and they make sense for being introduced most get used to the changes.
The changes are there to make it a better place in general otherwise their wouldn't be need for any change at all.Open Controls-

Anyone transferring in Cisse?
Or are there better options to replace Suarez?Open Controls -
Why does everyone so meticulously keep count of exactly how long Arsenal have gone without a trophy?
It doesn't happen with any other team.
Ps. Remember, when you get out of the water you need to dry off right away to avoid catching a cold. That's why Towelie says, don't forget to bring a towel.Open Controls -
The more I read about this Pistorius stuff the more I think it was roid rage.
Open Controls-
-
Read a fascinating report about Benoit actually. Autopsy showed that years of trauma to his brain had left it in the same condition as an 85 year old with Alzheimer's. It was absolutely destroyed, could have been roid rage or a very serious attack of dementia.
Open Controls -
-
Benoit wasn't roids. Was thought to be numerous concussions plus meds for a growth defect
Open Controls-
Bang on MT, his brain was absolutely ravaged by concussions.
Open Controls-
Jericho talks in depth about it in "undisputed". Watched his interviews afterwards too. Jericho was one of his best friends but feels like he hardly knew him.
On a side note, Jericho appears to be a real top guy. Huge respect for how he dealt with the whole benoit thing and still doesOpen Controls

On Oscar PistoriusOpen Controls -
Such a crazy situation, sounds like he had some sort of anger issues deep down somewhere, but you know how the media can twist these things...
Open Controls-
Yeah, he seemed to be a very very afraid of burglaries, I think he admitted in an interview to sleeping with a number of firearms and a baseball bat beside his bed. Media twist thing something awful, I'm more reading police findings than anything else.

Guilty Guilty Guilty
He`s doomed - unless he can get a certain lawyer who helped a QB get off of his murder charge a few years back !!Open Controls-

Oh well the chair or injection it is then or maybe a new butch sugar daddy for him 🙂

Being tried in front of a jury of his peers. All it needs is a number of those to be similar to the "he is a hero and I'll never believe it" donuts they have interviewed already and he'll be out and about
