With European football distracting the Premier League’s “elite”, Saturday’s schedule is limited to just five more fixtures. Chelsea’s local derby with Fulham will occupy our tea-time thoughts, leaving a quartet of three o’clock matches to tide us over.

For Fantasy managers, all eyes will be switching to Anfield where Daniel Sturridge will sport the armband for an army of backers, hoping that he can notch his fifth league goal in as many games. Southampton are the visitors and, having conceded just twice in four games this season, they could well put up some stubborn resistance against a Liverpool side without the midfield conjuring of Philippe Coutinho.

Newcastle’s Hatem Ben Arfa is the other name liable to carry the hopes of many. Having scored in back-to-back Magpies wins, the Frenchman looks set to be a protagonist again when newly promoted Hull City arrive in the North East.

Matches at the Hawthorns and Upton Park round things off, as West Brom face Paolo Di Canio’s Sunderland and West Ham taking on a buoyant Everton, fresh from their 1-0 win over Chelsea last time out.

The Dugout Discussion Chatroom remains open to cover your real-time requirements right up until the final whistle at the Bridge.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'd like some opinions on a possible wildcard team please. 🙂

    Mig, Lewis
    Shaw* Vidic* Coleman, Burner* Wilson*
    Eriksen* Michu, Walcott, Barkley* Pozuelo*
    Giroud* Suarez* Rooney*

Anyone with a star is new. I'd be selling Murner, Toure, Collins, Chester, Lampard, Jedinak, Hba, Benteke, Soldado, Sturridge. Thanks all 🙂

I would definitely have a Liverpool attacker still. The fixtures look too tasty.

Any suggestions on where I could find that cash Mr Parmtree? 🙂 That is With nothing in the bank. Although if I do Wc tonight I'll get Ramsey for the double rise and I'll hold Hba until tomorrow. There is .2 already 🙂 Shaw to Clyne an other .3. Nearly there 🙂

I could I guess. Don't really fancy an other 4m though. Especially with a Cardiff one already

Yes. If you plan on it anyway may as well save yourself the cash

If Chester is now red flagged will his price fall or does that stop his price from changing?

nope 4pt hit to move out Coutinho and Benteke. Solid team otherwise. Let Chester fester on the bench till he comes back.

😯 wow. Unlucky mate. Atleast you've not got down with it. Can see above your looking to wildcard. That team looks pretty good to me. I'd go for it.

Thanks. Feels weird as I was very happy with my team this morning except for Toure and Turner. After two weeks I was sure I had the perfect front line. And now I'm considering selling them all. And a goal (or two) from Wally and my favourite spaniard and it'll be fine 🙂

Seriously contemplating pulling the wildcard... Looks like a big improvement and got some reds and orange flags and questionmarks currently.

    Current:

    Boruc Foster
    Zab Terry Toure Chester Ward
    Kim JWP Nolan HBA Walcott
    RVP Soldado Sturridge

    Potential wildcard team:

    Boruc* Lewis
    Baines Vidic Kos Burner Ward*
    Eriksen HBA* Moses Walcott* Brady
    Rooney Suarez Lukaku

    Appreciate all advice 🙂

When times are tough in the current gamesweek, it's always good to look ahead to next week. Some interesting scorer trends.....

Robin Van Persie has scored 4 goals in his last 5 games against West Brom.
Wayne Rooney has scored 4 goals in his last 3 games against West Brom.
Luis Suarez has scored 5 goals in his last 5 games (home and away) v Sunderland.
Leighton Baines scored in both games v Newcastle last season.

injuries to benteke, chester and ward

want to take soldado out and upgrade davies to boruc

    worth a wc?

if i don't i would just do benteke to giroud then be stuck with myhill in goal vs united away next week with two injured defenders on the bench and soldado who isn't scoring

    thoughts?
