Last weekend saw Mesut Ozil serve up another devastating display as Arsenal made light work of Norwich at the Emirates. Having delivered back-to-back blanks in the previous two Gameweeks, the German’s brace against the Canaries took his tally to two goals and four assists in five appearances since arriving from Real Madrid this summer:

Later in the day, another playmaker racked up the points as City registered their first away win of the season at West Ham. David Silva’s display against the Hammers continued the form under Manuel Pellegrini that has now harvested two goals and three assists in five league games this term. Whilst Ozil has climbed to 10.7 in FPL, Silva has now dropped to 9.3 and with ownership levels of 31% and 5% respectively, the Gunners man has clearly been the most popular in spite of his loftier price tag.

With 20 and 18 strikes respectively, City and Arsenal lead the way for goals scored so far and with Ozil and Silva both instrumental in unlocking opposition backlines, in this latest article for members, we take a look at their impact:

    Anybody else have a problem with making drunken subs on a saturday night and living the week in fear??

    Took out giroud for aguero saturday night when i was smashed....what a hope the former is rested and my bacon/hummous (diversified cultural food items so everybody can relate to it) is saved.

    Best defender for 5.5?

    Have worked out that if I want City cover for next GW plus, Michu, Oscar and Walcott then I can't afford to double on Chelsea defence as I won't have enough cash to upgrade Ramsey.

      Double Chelsea cover looks risky with all those single goals they keep conceding, not the force of old it seems.

      Rangel looks tasty to me. Might as well save the money on Clyne, great value.

        I need someone to play every week, Clyne loses that luxury in a couple of weeks. Don't want Rangel as ML leader has him. He's brought in Townsend as (c) this week

        He actually had the gall to say, knowing my luck, he'll fail.

        KNOWING HIS LUCK. I can only wish to know his luck.

        Would you get Chelsea defence at all? Thinking about JT, but I could get Shawx for example?

          JT is the only one I'd get but I'm waiting for Jose to justify his defence for investment, they've been dodgy TBH, not the rock I expected.

          For me it's definitely down to Southampton (short term good fix) or Swansea (slightly worse defence but great fix for ages). Also Swansea tend to get cs in games you expect, the WBA game , palace and one other little one.

    Got stuck on the bottom of the page.

    A--Migs to Boruc (Saves me 1 mil, gets me SOTON def coverage, and the transfer might go to waste anyway so why not use it switching out your keeper)

    B--Koscielny to Clyne (Save me .8, gets me SOTON def coverage, and transfers out a guy I was going to get rid of definitively after this GW. Plus now Ramsey will be an option in the future since I won't have 3 Arsenal players)

    C--Michu to Hazard

    D--None of the above...other suggestion?

    I have 2 FT and .2 in the back. Problem is I don't see anyone that I NEED to transfer out this week, but I don't want to lose the transfer. I want JWP out but with only .2 in the bank, I can't afford Ravel by doing only 1 FT. My team..

        Good point, I might still gamble with Gerrard in the hopes of a goal/assist fest with having SAS up front, then get Silva after Chelsea game.

        It's got to the stage that I'm that far behind in my mini leagues that I think I need to gamble on stuff like this. Any other theories/mad gambles appreciated 🙂

    Considering Coleman > Clyne this week. Think with benteke and Everton in poor defensive form they have to concede. Southampton home to Fulham is one of the best defensive fixtures. Main thing is that Coleman doesn't assist.

        u went for fonte or lovren? i got lovren since gw 1 but on my 2nd team which i use for betting i drafted fonte around 4 gw ago; jsut because he was cheaper, but now not sure;who do u reckon will outscore? yes im aware both fonte and lovren very similar stats
