Last week’s Flutter was a case of “so near, yet so far” for a couple of our picks. Kevin Mirallas grabbed a goal but Everton’s inability to keep out Villa cost us and, whilst Arsenal’s defence delivered yet another clean sheet, Santi Cazorla was unable to find the net to bring us into profit. Once again, we turn to the Scout Picks for inspiration, with our hopes falling on certain individuals from Southampton, Chelsea and United this weekend.

Before we look at this weekend’s markets a reminder that, if you’re yet to register an account with Paddy, you can sign up and take advantage of a special on today’s big clash between Liverpool and Arsenal. Paddy are offering either 9/2 for Liverpool to gain victory over the league leaders or 11/2 for Arsene Wenger’s side to prevail. The offer is open to new accounts only and is limited to a £10 stake.

Heading back to the weekend’s picks, we find that Southampton’s Adam Lallana is the subject of our first bet. Paddy are offering odds of 11/2 on the Saints skipper to score and his side to keep a clean sheet – given that he’s netted in three of his last four and the Potters have scored just once in their last six road trips, we’re more than happy to part with £3 for the St Mary’s encounter.

Next up, we shift our attentions to Stamford Bridge, as Jose Mourinho’s side prepare for the visit of Newcastle. This time around, Paddy are prepared to offer 3/1 on an Eden Hazard goal and Chelsea clean sheet – given that the Blues have conceded twice in the last eight and the Belgian has netted in two of his last four home appearances, we’re willing to shell out a further £3 on this one.

Our final £4 goes on United’s home game against Fulham. Paddy are offering 3/1 on Robin van Persie to score two or more and David Moyes’ side to keep a clean sheet against the struggling Cottagers. Bearing in mind that the visitors have conceded more away goals than any other side and have drawn blanks in each of their last three, our confidence is high that the Dutchman and his team-mates can help us get the better of Paddy.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    Morning all
    Defensive worries today

    Terry Chambers Kolarov (Demel Fabio)

    Still got a FT.
Is it worth using it to switch Cambers or Kolarov (worried its his turn to rotate out)
Or just save the FT and count on Demel and Fabio?

    So Rooney or Hazard (c)

Rooney is more differential I guess, but may play "deep"

Hazard could be on pens if no Lampard

Here are the points I need to climb the ranks:

    top 100,000 = 50 points
    top 50,000 = 77 points
    top 10,000 = 124 points
    top 5,000 = 140 points
    top 1,000 = 174 points
    top 100 = 214 points
    top 1 = 278 points

Realistically, I think the best I can hope for is top 10,000 and that is unlikely. However, never say never as I have 17 green arrows in a row and 20/21 in total (only 1 red all season).

How is your team looking and what rank are you realistically hoping for?

Keeping an eye on Glenn Murray now, as in our match day squad, tempting but thinking of waiting a week or so for match fitness before transferring in. Third highest goal scorer in Europe last season 🙂
