I'm considering a 16 point hit to make 5 transfers:

Bony - J Rod
I know 16 points seems like a lot, but I'd just need those 5 to make more than 16 points for it to pay off. I'm chasing the mini league so need to be risk-taking. Plus, they are short-term transfers as I will be wildcarding.

got a bit of a long & weird question for you guys, but its a big one fr me so any help would be massively appreciated!
I am in a fantasy football £pay-in league with a cup which we are now down to the semi final in! The format is that it is a 2 legged heads up between me and this guy over 2 gameweeks (GW's 29&31 in this case) who ever score higher in those two weeks (added together) wins and goes through to the final. MINUS POINTS for extra transfers are taken into account. Basically i had a big plan for the last 3 weeks, gear my team towards having 11 starting players in week 29 (with all postponed fixtures accounted for) and then use my wildcard on the Double GW31 to fix team and have a huuuuge gameweek then and hopefully win my cup tie. However theirs now a problem...
I made my two long planned transfers just after the end of last gameweek for -4 bringing in 2 starters for people not playing GW29, Lovren and Adam to have 10 out of 11 of my team playing in week 29 (no goalkeeper still) however adam has since been given a *** 3 game ban! eriksen is looking v doubtful, i transferred in snodgrass last week and his slight doubt, and i have rafeal who probably wont play. Now looking like i defiantly wont have at least 3/4 people playing including goalkeeper and adam who i just took a -4 hit for is now out for 3 games...
Question: Should i take a -4 hit again (so -8 total) and swap adam or maaaayb rafael for someone who is definatly playing? -8 could massivly hurt my cup tie however i can get someone who is definatly gonna play whereas i will definatly get a 0 with adam.

There's been a lot of articles on strategy for the current GW29 and DGW31 - particularly the number of players in your teams. I have 7 players for GW29 but do not intend to add to it by spending points as the only player I would like to bring in (Janusaj) is impossible to predict with Moyes if he will play! I plan to do no transfers GW30 and 3 transfers of important key players in DGW31 to bring a full 11 non the pitch at the cost of 4 points.
