Prior to limping out of City’s Champions League defeat in Barcelona on Wednesday evening, Sergio Aguero was the runaway leader in this week’s Captain Poll. This week, we take a different approach to the Captain Sensible article and use the Stats Tables in the Members section as our guide. By using the top five players in this week’s Captain Poll (Aguero, Romelu Lukaku, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Adam Lallana) as a starting point, we’ve created a table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

  Aguero --> Sturridge is -4 extra. (Always look at each transfer as an individual hit). I would do that, yes, and use the money to upgrade either Lallana or the defence for the DGW.
