FFS Uefa World Cup – Final Preparations

With the World Cup beginning shortly, the time has come to bring everyone up to speed on the details of this competition. Please use the comment section below for FFS UEFA Tournament discussion.

Deadlines

With the earliest games of the World Cup starting at 5pm UK time on June 12, it has been decided that the original 23:59h deadlines were a bit premature for our liking. As a result these have been altered to 2pm UK time (i.e. 14 hours later), to allow enough time so as not to clash with the actual deadlines of the McDonald’s game itself, while also providing the best possible time for all members of the tournament to be available around the deadline – from early morning in the US to late evening in New Zealand.

Scoring

With the lack of IDs being provided by McDonald’s, at this stage at least, it has been decided that leagues will be set up for each Group. They should be created already or in the near future by the host of your Group. The Captains should have already been in contact with their Hosts, but to clarify the Hosts are:

• Group A – Isacki
• Group B – Bonz
• Group C – Shadow
• Group D – Billy Gilmore
• Group E – Shipstontrev
• Group F – Milanista
• Group G – Zep
• Group H – Elninorules

If you are a captain and haven’t already established contact with your Host, then please do so as soon as possible to ensure the smoothest possible operation of the game.

What is required of Captains?

It is the responsibilty of each of the captains to ensure that they;

• Obtain a full team prior to the deadline (Hosts are assisting with this – more details below)
• Join the relevant McDonald’s league and ensure your team members do the same
• Submit your formation to your host prior to the deadline – the first of which is 2pm UK time on June 12

Recruitment

As it stands there are six spots still available in the game – Algeria, Bosnia, France and South Korea the teams still requiring members. If you are playing the McDonald’s game and are interested in joining one of these teams then you should email the Captain of one or more of those teams menioned above. Rule Clarification

A few people on the site have enquired about our view on the exploitation of the rules enabling the acquisition of more than the maximum three players from each country. This bug has now been fixed in the McDonald’s game so the decision is taken out of our hands.
