The Rate My Team Discussion - Best FPL Tips, Advice, Team News, Picks, and Statistics from Fantasy Football Scout

With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

A Chelsea defender is a must for Evs, should he downgrade Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and get a 6m Chelsea defender or downgrade Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez to his team mate Aaron Ramsey to give himself 6.5m to spend.

Recently Tottenham’s Ben Davies had been ousted from his team, as again uncertainty with Danny Rose continues. Which is the best route into the Tottenham defence? Stevan Jovetic is a short term punt. Who should he replace him with should he fail to cement a place in Manchester City’s starting XI?

Weak Defense but the Major point there is Fabianski ... play a sub and then get him on from GW2 .

    Ha! If you're gonna have Bojan in your squad might as well play him GW1 and drop mutch. It's weird I can't really see where you've spent all your money. I suppose your midfield costs loads. It's not very well rounded, have another look at it.

    DDG Myhill is fine
    
    Cahill Lovren Chambers Moore Bartley
    Your 2 4.0m's should be Bruce and Wisdom/Baird. I'd also drop Lovren to a cheaper defender.
    
    Mutch Mata Eriksen Ramsey Haz
    I'd downgrade Mutch and Haz to Fab and a 4.5m
    
    Rooney Dzeko Bojan
    Play Bojan GW1 and use the remaining money to upgrade Dzeko to Costa
    
    I'm not saying do all of this but hopefully it will make your team more well rounded. Good luck!

Currently on Hendo over Siggy since Hendo is from the better, more attacking team and there are doubts as to whether Siggy will play in the hole. Can someone convince me otherwise?
