What about ADM ➡ Hazard, and Costa ➡ Rooney now, so that I can eventually do Oscar ➡ Eriksen/Mirallas as I s'pose, and create that spot for Costa, anyway. Also won't lose cash on Costa.

There's so much reluctance to sell Costa yet he's no where near essential and is being outperformed by many other forwards. He had 2 double pointers in GW2 and GW3 and non since. Yes he's ticking along but more is required especially since he's supposed to be weekly captaincy material.
What is it that's preventing sales? Maybe they are happening but just in the top 100k. I can only think that the 'loss of value' and caution over his high ownership are the main reasons.exactly my thinking

There are loads of alternatives. Bony, Rooney, Pelle, Austin, WelbeckBenteke, Berahino, Kane...
Assitsa and Bonus also equal points. Costa gets none.
Aguero has a bad day, 2 assists and 7 points.
Costa has a good day, 6 points and no bonus.
Bony and Rooney both better options than him right now.

I sold him and ADM for Rooney and Hazard. I think Haz and Fab can cover his attacking points and they both are more bonus magnes than him. Rooney and Hazard are both on penalties too. Costa is rude player and very often getting cards, I can't afford to lose points because of his mentality and for 11.0.

The whole site has just spent the last week saying how amazing Chelsea's fixtures are etc and for that reason I think you'd want more players from the league leaders rather than less.
If you can wear his absence this week (welcome back George Boyd) then I dont see why you wouldn't keep one of the league's top scorersWell there is a problem for a start. You're replacement is Boyd rather than someone better, say Downing

Getting rid GW9 and not getting back has been the best decision of my season.
I got rid before GW9 and haven't looked back; almost all greenies since then. Not really interested in bringing him back unless I have a ton of cash lying around. I'm sure Hull at home GW16 will be another masochistic affair with a lot of the top 10k captaining him and me watching without him.
If you've kept him this long, I don't see now as being the time to get rid...
I ditched him weeks ago for Austin and Hazard.

I'm really coming round to keeping Rooney over Costa and looking to upgrade Oscar to Cesc or Haz with the spare money. Looking forward at the fixtures Man U have some great fixtures all the way through the festive period. Even a 'tough' home game v Liverpool looks profitable for Rooney. I'm sure Costa will score regularly but overall his regular 6 pt scores could easily be outdone by rooneys extra assists and bps.

Aguero and Sanchez are the only players with more points per game overall, and Hazard and Pelle are the only ones with more points per game in home matches.
He might have only had 2 double figure returns, but he is extremely consistent. He has only scored fewer than 6 points on 3 occasions in 11 GWs, and never twice in succession. Only Clyne is close to matching his consistency.
The only negatives are the number of GWs that he misses - 2 so far for injuries, and the next one for a suspension - and the fact that you may not be able to afford to include all the best players in your squad without weakening it overall.
The only forward i rather have than Costa is Aguero. So its quite simple, just get them both and some cheap 3. forward like Austin. That will give you plenty of cash for the midfield and defense.
To be honest I'm getting tired of his antics, he's destined for a red card soon.
Might just do Costa to Rooney now!
Of all the players I'd like to bring in not one has a fixture I'm crazy about. Midweek rotation complicates things further. Unless money gets in the way it might be best to hold.
