Scout Picks Community Champion Vote – Gameweek 14

As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 14’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 14 Scout Picks and 200 word or bullet point explanation for your picks in the comment section below. For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget. We are sticking to a budget of 83.5m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote for 24 hours and come back at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) to find out who is the community’s choice. Please note that due to the fast turnaround of Gameweeks the winning submissions will be forwarded straight over to Paul for the Scout Picks article on Tuesday morning so it is vitally important that you include your reasons for your picks.

If you need to make any minor tweaks based on injuries on Tuesday please email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me rather than leave a comment below

    DDG(5.5)
    Williams(5.4) Lovren(5.1) Clichy(5.3)
    Fabregas(9.8) Siggy(6.9) Sterling(8.4) Hazard(10.2)
    Kun(12.8) Ings(5.7) Bony(8.4)

    TOTAL: 83.3

DDG: Best option among the top 3 GKs to keep a clean sheet

Defense: Swansea go up against QPR in which i am betting on a Swansea shutout, Austin can only do so much. Liverpool go into this game on the back of a win which should see Leicester struggle to make inroads towards goal. Man City go up against Sunderland who are going to struggle in attack.

Midfield: With Costa out, Fab and Hazard are going to run the show in midfield and attack. Liverpool go up against a Leicester defense which should make scoring an easy job. Swansea host QPR who do not have the most competent defense.

Attack: Aguero is the most obvious choice for points up front and even though he didnt score last week, he got more points due to 2 assists. Newcastle defense is injury-ravaged and its the ideal time for Ings to be coming into form. Swansea should see off QPR with Bony leading the line.

    Notes:
    - I havent chosen a Chelsea defender as i feel that Spurs have the ability to score at any point in the game and with the Chelsea midfield so attack oriented, it could be exploited.
    - Arsenal and Southampton are big question marks for this GW as no-one can confidently say what could be the outcome this GW. Thus, i havent chosen players from these 2 teams.
    - United are doing well, but a definite evaluation can only be made after the Southampton match, especially with ADM probably out.

We have a winner. Well done Jarvis. I'll get your team over to Paul for editing now. Good luck - tough act to follow after Beavis taught us scouts a solid lesson in fantasy football management in gwk 13. 🙂
