Monitor – Charlie Austin

In a season where a number of budget forwards have more than held their own with premium-priced alternatives, QPR’s Charlie Austin has arguably been the pick of the bunch. Still kindly priced at 6.5 in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, he sits second amongst strikers on 109 points, sandwiched in between big-hitting pair Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero on the back of 13 goals and a trio of assists in just 20 top-flight appearances.

Over the last four Gameweeks, however, Austin’s Fantasy returns have afforded his owners cause for concern. The R’s top scorer has struck just once from Gameweek 19 onwards – compared to five strikes in his previous four appearances – and with plenty of similarly priced options jostling for our attentions, we delve into the data to assess Austin’s recent displays, comparing them to both his previous performances and fellow forwards alike.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

      Isn't bellerin injured?

Don't think you need Costa aguero both to be honest,
Even the cheap strikers do the job.. You can improve your midfield instead. 🙂

Looks good. Most wc teams look like this. I would think about getting rid of cazorla tho, now that ozil is back he might get rested.

Best 3rd mid. Budget 8.5. Long term prospects. Own Hazard Sanchez Siggy Costa Kun Kane. Oscar not an option due to 3 Chelsea players already.
