Can't complain about Boyd scoring points on your bench. Most of us got him at 4.4m Hes doing exactly what you expected from him. Playing consistently with the odd goal. He was never an option for 4th mid so dont beat yourself up that you didnt play Boyd over Sanchez 😆

Hoping one of Kane,Eriksen or Hazard gets benched today.

I love Cork. I needed him to play only in GW27 and he popped up with 1 assist and 3 bonus. Haven't done anything before or after that match 😀

How nailed is it that the Villa and Arsenal games will be GW 34?

Also anyone want to take a guess at how bad Foster's injury is? I only have Hamer as a sub and want to get Ospina, but afraid Foster won't be back for Ospina's blank

Yeah it looked like a bit of knee damage. As a Foster owner I don't feel very confident about it. The only consolation is I wouldn't have played him against City anyway. Hopefully he'll be back for their nice run after that.

So why do we think Bellerin was benched? can we expect him to play against Newcastle?

Considering Sanchez got hauled off after 65 you are probably right. Fingers crossed because my only alternatives that week would be a WBA defender against City

    Quick Question.

    Puncheon to whom?
    A) Mahrez
    B) Boyd
    C) Ki
    D) Keep Puncheon

Keep if it's not a serious injury IMO, is he your 4th or 5th mid? Rotated?

Dependent on news, but if you are looking to get rid I'd probably advise freeing up funds elsewhere so you can get someone with a better outlook than the options you are listing.

We have very similar teams (wish I had your rank). I don't see that you need to make the move immediately, given Eriksen on your bench.

I'm going to downgrade Puncheon at an opportune time, when it won't cost me anything. I may go as low as Cork or Bentaleb @4.3, though Mahrez for the DGW is an option (however, having CHE essentially makes that a single GW for LEI). WHU should have their defense at full strength in a couple weeks - Kouyate @4.9 might be a good option given their favorable fixtures and a return to a midfield spot.

Thanks Balders. Really only want to keep for one week (Swansea at home) then will probably ditch anyway. If he doesn't play then it looks like I would have to play Bruce, and I want him to concede 6 against my Beautiful Blues!

          • 12 Years
          10 years, 9 months ago

Fair enough, if Bruce is your first bencher then its neither really here nor there whether Hutton plays. 1 point apiece IMO

yeah meant to say welbz/walcott. Too many scenarios. If we don't make it through CL i expect Wenger to play the with the 6 you have above most games. Otherwise Welbz can come in for Giroud or any of the 3 behind him. Caz can play anywhere in midfield. Sanchez is versatile, good wide and centrally. Ozil has been pushed out wide before(not as effective, though).

Doosra, a really well known and popular poster, is really ill in hospital 🙁
One of his favourite things was to post +42 instead of +1, when he agreed with some ones opinion.
It has to do with the answer to everything from Hitchhikers guide..
And people are using it as a message to Doos to get well soon.

The England goalkeeper will face a race to be fit in time for next Saturday lunchtime's Premier League clash at Manchester City.

"We will have to get him checked," said Albion head coach Tony Pulis.

"He felt his left knee go from under him. We need him fit.”

sadly I think so. C'mon the arsenal! I'm a big fan of wenger and a lot of his players.

When will Pellegrini make the hard decision and bench Dzeko & Bony while starting Aguero alone up top. They play way better with Aguero as their lone striker

he's another manager too committed to a particular system. That can be fine but when they inherit a team who's two world class star players aren't suited to said system there's really two choices. Adapt the tactics or replace aguero and silva. The latter is near impossible and the middle ground is doomed to fail imo
