The Premier League have this afternoon rescheduled Aston Villa’s home clash with QPR, which was initially pencilled in for Saturday April 20, or Gameweek 33 to you and I. Due to the former’s progress to the FA Cup semi-final, this fixture will now take place on Tuesday April 7 – handing both sides a double Gameweek 31.

Tim Sherwood’s in-form side face a testing trip to Old Trafford on the Saturday before welcoming the R’s to Villa Park three days later. There’s no doubt that Christian Benteke and Gabby Agbonlahor will be the prime candidates for points after racking up three goals apiece over the last two matches, though it’s worth noting that the midlands outfit then have trips to Spurs and City on either side of their blank Gameweek 33 before finishing the season with three home fixtures in four (EVE, WHU, sou, BUR).

It’s likely that many Fantasy managers will still be holding their QPR assets after Chris Ramsey’s side were handed a double Gameweek 28. Those looking to ship out Charlie Austin and Matty Phillips will now be prepared to hold for the short-term, though the R’s don’t have it easy – prior to rolling up to Villa Park, they travel to a West Brom side with four home clean sheets in five under Tony Pulis. Despite scoring just once in his recent double, Austin fired 15 attempts against Arsenal and Spurs, whilst Phillips has now scored or assisted in four of his last five appearances. Certainly, with Chelsea, Liverpool and City – in addition to a blank Gameweek 33 – in the subsequent five rounds of fixtures, planning an escape route looks essential.

For now, this is just a heads-up article – we’ll be publishing a pair of Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

Well no one saw that one coming. Benteke and Austin plus a Villa defender the only likely options

Right so I'd planned to do:

With the DGW announcement, I wouldn't be ditching Austin. Playing Krul is very unappealing, so I'd probably sort that out, maybe look at Forster/Ospina.

It is an odd one, especially when you take in consideration the fans. To put off your plans is a hassle but much more doable then bringing them forward.

Right maybe this is a better idea:

    Foster*, Krul
    Clyne, Terry, Bellerin, Lescott, PVA
    Sanchez, Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, Puncheon*
    Kane, Aguero, Austin

2FTs. 0.8ITB. What would you do with this lot?

I will now share my method for betting 'absolutely live' on in-play football, because I am bored.

Bookmakers cannot monitor every single game in the British Isles perfectly live - sure they may be able to cover the Premier League fixtures and the Championship, perhaps the rest of the Football League, but some games they can scarcely touch, and there is sometimes as much as a 10-15 second delay before markets suspend after goals/corners etc.

I personally use the Betfair exchange on a super fast 4G connection, but B365 or indeed any good in-play bookmaker should work fine. I bet on the 'next goal' market primarily, however correct scores are also an option if you're fast enough, O/U is also good at the end of a match.

Go to a Non-League game of your choice, ensure it isn't in the middle of nowhere and you can get an excellent signal, and if it's at a health club or something and there's wifi then that's a bonus.

Watch the game intently, as one team spring a dangerous attack, get the market of your choice ready with 'x' stake - anticipate the goal. The key here is slotting the 5 second bet placement delay into the 10 second feed delay that the bookmakers use to monitor these matches. As soon as the ball crosses the line, bang your stake in, you should beat the market if you are at a game of the correct profile..

It's quite intense and mentally tiring, but worth it. Just remember to put down a 0-0 insurance to cover the price of your travel/ticket.

And don't get too greedy or you'll get your account shut down/limited, the barstards!
