The Scout Picks Community Champion Vote – Gameweek 33

Welcome to this week’s Scout Picks Community Champion vote. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 33’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 33 Scout Picks. For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of the 84m budget. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday) when I will announce the winner, who will be asked to submit their final XI plus 200 word explanation to me by 5pm Thursday.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk rather than leave a comment below.

Probably too late but I'll have a go anyway...

      Schmeichel
      Coleman Dann Baines
      Lennon Puncheon Silva Hazard
      Nugent Aguero Kane

      79.6m

Schmeichel - because Gomis is out, Sigurdsson is not in great form and Swansea don't have much to play for whereas Leicester are fighting for their lives. Could be a rare clean sheet for them.

Coleman and Baines - because Everton have a good chance of a clean sheet and these two also have attacking possibilities

Dann - because I actually expect a tight game and he is a threat from set pieces

Lennon and Silva - good form, great fixture for both

Puncheon - the keystone of Palace's attack I think, if they score he has a good chance to be involved and I don't want to chase last week's points with Bolasie

Hazard - another game I expect to be tight but if Chelsea score he's likely to be involved and has a good chance of BPs

Aguero - reluctantly as I don't think 4-2-2-2 suits him but he does love scoring against West Ham (9 PL goals against them in 6 games)

Kane - again reluctantly because I think Spurs are gone but so are Newcastle and their defence is awful

Nugent - good form and a better fixture than Murray has in my view

I don't fancy any from Swans away but I think they will keep it tight. Maybe 1-1 something like that and it's too much of a lottery pinning down Leicester attacking points.

    Hi all

Only just realised how the voting works for the community rep. While slow on the uptake, I'd like to put my fantasy reputation on the line by taking on the Scouts.

    GW33:

    Hart
    Baines, Coleman, Dann
    Hazard, Silva, Lennon, Bolasie
    Aguero, Kane, Murray

    Would love some votes guys.

    Howard. 5.1m
Everton are getting clean sheets now and Burnley have scored a hysterical 1 goal in 6 games.

    Baines. 7m
    Same reasons as above.

    Shawcross. 5.3m
He's performing well at the moment. Stoke are struggling a little for clean sheets but Southampton really struggle to score, especially away from home.

    Clichy. 5.4m
City will see this as a vital game and West Ham have nothing to play for.

    Bolasie. 5.5m
I feel he's been threatening to do what he just did for a while now. He'll be brimming with confidence so don't expect him to pass the ball much but he's primed for another star performance.

    Silva. 9.8m
Silva is top of every stat table I can think of. He's the main man for this week, expect big things.

    Hazard. 11.2m
He's absolutely on fire at the moment. 7 attacking returns in his last 9 and up against a confident but leaky UTD side.

    Lennon. 6.2m
He seems to have found a new lease of life at Everton and I can see his exploits continuing.

    Murray. 5.2m
He was my star man last week and I see him as undroppable.

    Aguero. 12.4m
He's just bagged himself a brace in a tough fixture and almost looks back to his best. Its great timing considering the fixtures.

    Kane. 6.4m
I think this is last chance saloon for him for many. But he's against the leagues worst form team. He should be an absolute nightmare. I think he'll grab one early and the awful Toon fans will turn on their team as usual, and their heads will drop, leading to a trouncing.

    79.5m total

Out of curiosity, if you sort by discussion rating, Yer Old Da wins with 4 votes to 9. Very odd.

I know that not all upvotes are equal, but that seems a tad extreme.

Check the watch list article and you'll see it happen again. Nothing untoward it's just how it works.

That probably indicates that posters with a higher reputation have voted for Tim as their vote has more sway when sorting by discussion rating.
