Having won just four of their first 29 fixtures upon returning to the Premier League, Leicester looked prime candidates for relegation less than 12 months after clinching the Championship. A sensational about-turn in form saw the Foxes drop just four points in the remaining nine matches – with only champions Chelsea getting the better of Nigel Pearson’s side – as a late rally saw them finish the season six points clear of the drop zone.

In our latest article for members, we assess Leicester’s roster, assessing their output in terms of goal threat and creativity.

Guidetti takes pens when on pitch. Thelin who took it today is not even on the prepared pen list, he stole it. But he is 8m and have experience from CL with Malmö, he is more of a hold up player then a pure striker

2nd choice is Augustinsson by the way, he said he was ok with Thelin taking it.
Maybe today makes Thelin 2nd choice from now on and Guidetti felt something on backside of thigh so if he is out maybe Thelin will continue to hog them.
Thelin himself has trouble with his heal but seems ok now.

          Panti/Mannone

          Ivan, 5.5, Fuchs, Yedlin, BOU

Surely makes Mame Diouf a big risk though. Personally wouldn't touch Stoke forwards now after that signing.

Slightly better striker than Diouf imo.

Reckon Diouf could score well early on myself, particularly with decent fixtures. It's just that risk of Joselu that puts me off instantly.

Could be 5.5 I think, he looked very useful and another good defender or even two would make him almost a must have.
I hope he's less, it just depends where there general pricing goes this year.

Him and Mannone combined outscored the top scoring keeper and got more saves than any other keeper.

I do think he could be the best option, but if he's 5.5 he's out

City need a home grown player to meet squad restrictions

They've lost 3 and have been forced to give Richard Wright a new deal just to get an extra one in the squad. They only have 3 atm

well supposedly if they get nowhere with Pogba (who would class as Home Grown) they're going to go for Delph

But as they're desperate (and clubs know it), price goes up

  22. Premier League Rotation Blocks
    Portsmouth Bubblejet
    • 15 Years
    11 years, 25 days ago

Just like last year, I've designed a home/away FPL fixture rotation spreadsheet for each club for the new 2015-16 season. It doesn't take degree of difficulty for each match into account, and should therefore be used in combination with the FFS season ticker. The Dropbox link is below if you wish to download it.

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/uw0u12pfy53hqca/FPL%20Home%20Away%20Rotation%202015-16.xlsx?dl=0

Unlike many European leagues, where the fixtures are divided into 2 equal halves which are reversed after the winter break, the Premier League fixture compilers have stuck to their usual practice of splitting the calendar into a number of short rotational blocks.

During each block, the 20 clubs are split into two groups of ten teams – let’s call them Group A and Group B. For the duration of the fixture block, teams from Group A will always play against a team from Group B, but never against another team from Group A. When a new rotational block starts, the two groups are mixed up, so that each club gets the opportunity to play all 19 others home and away.

    In 2015-16, there are 10 fixture blocks of varying length. They take place in gameweeks 1-2, 3-6, 7-8, 9-13, 14-17, 18-25, 26-27, 28-32, 33-34 and 35-38.

It is therefore the lengthiest blocks (GW 18-25) that will allow us to set up some potentially fruitful team rotations.

The inclusion of rotation blocks of odd-numbered length (GW 9-13 & GW 28-32) means that some teams have a distinct imbalance in the number of home and away matches around this period. In other words:

    – Man City & Crystal Palace play 5 out of 7 matches at home between GW 8 & GW 14

    – Man United & Stoke play 5 out of 7 matches away between GW 8 & GW 14

    – Liverpool & West Ham play 5 out of 7 matches at home in gameweeks 27-33

    – Chelsea & Everton play 5 out of 7 matches away in gameweeks 27-33

Each club has one team with whom they always rotate. Some pairs are allocated due to close geographical proximity, which might cause policing problems, but others are allocated in order to avoid clashes in other tiers of the English football pyramid.

Here are the main home/away rotational patterns for each Premier League club.

    Arsenal
    ------------

We've had two users in the last week report video ads playing on the site.

I want to stress that we do not allow our agency to use video ads that play automatically and with audio.

If any user is seeing these, please mail us at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with details.

We need to know the products you are seeing with video ads, the location (sidebar or leaderboard) and your location (as ads differ across different countries).

Only with these details can we get the ads removed by the agency.

    Thanks all.

I'm not sure they bottled anything. They created loads of chances but it just was one of those nights, plus he fact they came up against a team that was, for my money, the best of the tournament so far...I actually thought England did ok but forgot their shooting boots.

'SOT's solid defence' was not that solid anymore after Forster's injury, check the stats. If Clyne leaves for the unproven Soares, I expect them to get fewer cs as well.

Not much of a golf person, but just done some bets in play

    Spieth £50 @ 7/1
    Stenson £25 @ 6/1
    Mickelson £10 @ 16/1

Yep just turned it on, I only bet seriously on football, just bet on things like this when I'm bored, with football I've learned it's best to stick to just a double or treble, usually 2 home teams, both odds on, big stake double, trick is not to be greedy and forget all about accumulators

With accumulators there is always one team that let's you down, I'm going to try first goalscorer trixies this season week in week out with Aguero Costa Benteke, did it years ago it was great in the Henry Van Nistelrooy Larsson days, you only need 2 for a slight profit with all 3 your laughing
