It’s time to turn up the heat on Granville. After Harry Kane obliged with a 26-point armband return, I’ve clawed back the gap on my mancunian rival, who now sits just three points ahead in our “very personal” battle.

With the flame lit on our age-old duel, the ScoutCast is revived to resemble the days gone by, with Granville wriggling uncomfortably as we spar throughout. Jonty is on hand to mediate, taking a few blows of his own, with Granville lashing out blindly.

Around the melee, we take in another round of “rough with the smooth” and digest a slew of community questions. We chat Aguero Vs Kane, consider the merits of showing Sanchez and De Bruyne the door, and scribe our Christmas Fantasy Football wishlist.

This episode was first aired via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. You can view the unedited Google Hangout in the larger player below, or treat yourself to the buffed-up audio version via this link or the smaller player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Quick straw poll type thing. Some people were saying yesterday that they would like to see more hot topics, whilst others are of the opinion that there's already too many and good ones are getting knocked off too soon.

Out of interest - how many of you go back through the last couple of articles to check all the recent stickies i.e the hulked posts that don't get a title?

There should be sticky hot topics (permanent hot topics like the FIFFSA thread) and hot topics.

A hot topic re-work is in the pipeline - I was just interested to see how many made use of the stickies.

Yup there is that. I did say yesterday it tends to balance out.

I check for stickies whenever I come on the site.

And yes...more hot topics please particularly those issues that effect our decisions during the week. For example this week a Coutinho or Firmino would have been good as we begin to consider Liverpool attacking options.

I'm not on as often as I'd like so I do try to go through the last 3-5 articles I've missed and sort the comments by discussion ratings. I get to see all the recent stickies and more often than not, a player's injury status that I was perhaps going to ask about for example is discussed in depth already.

It depends what's on the bottom of the list. If it's not relevant anymore eg last weeks best diff or something then I can't see the problem with it going. If it's something good then that's for you to deciede πŸ™‚

Tbh I haven't really paid a lot of attention this season now I'm not modding but prior to that it was more a case of getting more on IMO, as there'd often be out of date stuff at the bottom. It's great that there's more stuff coming through then. πŸ™‚

Yes indeed. Also Lukaku and Kane are nailed on. Klopp has riches of attackers for all sorts of opposition. Firmino and Coutinho, or Benteke and one of them.

Liverpool have great fixtures and he is still a good goal scorer...but compared to Kane and Lukaku he is simply no match.

Good to go? Not sure whether Begovic and Walker on the bench is the right choice but think Palace are more likely for a clean sheet than either Chelsea or Tottenham?

    Hennessey
    Souare - Bellerin - Moreno
    Ozil - Sanchez - KDB - Mahrez
    Aguero - Lukaku (c) - Vardy

    Begovic - Walker - Anya - Simpson

Play Rojo (LEI) or Dawson (WHU)? Both away games.

    Butland
    Rojo Monreal Kolarov
    Mané Mahrez Sánchez KDB
    Vardy (VC) Pellè Lukaku (C)
    Subs: McCarthy Dawson Francis Westwood

Advice please on below. No free transfers left. Front 8 of:

    Sanchez, KDB, Mane, Mahrez, Alli
    Kane, Lukaku, Vardy

    Should I

    A) Mane to Ozil -4. I have the exact cash for this so won't be able to do it later down the line
    B) Mane to Coutinho -4 (if we hear something today)
    C) Stick

    Cheers

Not sure if we'll get full details of what is being said now but press conference later. I honestly don't know which way we'll line up.

Mata could come back in and Depay on the left with Lingard getting a break but who knows.
