Mesut Ozil is passed fit for Arsenal’s home clash with Chelsea, whilst Alexis Sanchez may also be available. Charlie Austin is in the Southampton squad for the trip to United, West Ham’s James Tomkins will be assessed as City roll up to Upton Park, whilst Mark Hughes will monitor Marko Arnautovic’s hamstring as the Potters make their way to Leicester.

Mesut Ozil is available for Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday after recovering from a foot injury. Alexis Sanchez is expected to be in contention this weekend, though Arsene Wenger has admitted he’s keen to minimise the risk to the Chilean, who has failed to feature since Gameweek 14 due to a hamstring complaint.

Charlie Austin has recovered from a hamstring problem and is in line to make his Southampton debut at United, Ronald Koeman has confirmed. Graziano Pelle is a doubt once again, though, due to his ongoing knee injury.

Palace boss Alan Pardew has confirmed that Wayne Hennessey will retain his place between the posts for the visit of Tottenham, despite a couple of high-profile errors in the last two fixtures. Dwight Gayle is still sidelined with a hamstring problem – the forward has returned to training this week but Palace medical staff have advised Pardew against playing the striker.

James Tomkins will be assessed ahead of West Ham’s home clash with Man City, Slaven Bilic has confirmed. Joey O’Brien has recovered from injury and is available.

Geoff Cameron remains sidelined for Stoke’s clash with Leicester due to an ongoing ankle complaint. Mark Hughes conceded he has “got to be careful” with Marko Arnautovic’s hamstring problem, whilst Xherdan Shaqiri is back in training and will be assessed.

Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Ritchie de Laet is nursing a groin problem ahead of Leicester’s clash with Stoke. Matty James and Jeffrey Schlupp remain on the sidelines for the King Power showdown.

Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Vito Mannone will continue as Sunderland’s number one following the departure of Costel Pantilimon to Watford. Big Sam handed Jordan Pickford a chance against Spurs last weekend but will turn to the Italian once again for the visit of Bournemouth.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has confirmed he will make late decisions on the availability of Matt Ritchie (dead leg) and Josh King (hamstring) for the trip to the Stadium of Light. Benik Afobe is expected to be fit for weekend trip to Sunderland , after being forced off with a knock last time out.

Saido Berahino has recovered from a midweek illness in time for West Brom’s home derby with Villa. Chris Brunt, Jonas Olsson and Darren Fletcher are all struggling to be fit, though, Tony Pulis has confirmed.

Roberto Martinez reveals that James McCarthy and Seamus Coleman are “progressing well” from injury, whilst Bryan Oviedo is fit and available for Everton’s home encounter with Swansea, after being forced off with a knock last weekend.

I think save and play Bellers or Simpson.

      Both strong options.

I'd be happy playing any of the benched 2. Clean sheets are a bit hit and miss.
DarmIan to Daniels frees up cash though.

By next week we will have news on gw27 teams with no fixtures and possibly dgws which could be as soon as gw25 but could also be after gw27. So 2ft gives more flexibility to prepare without taking an extra 4 pt hit basically

One question and one question only.

Is Lukaku a big enough threat this weekend to justify a -4 to get him in?

                      Only really Mahrez.

KDB worries me because of rotation and away fixtures.

But I've been wrestling with this one all week.

I would get him in as vardy fix become tough whilst lukaku has easier run...also in terms of value, vardy is going down so you might lose out...I think over the next 3-5 games lukaku outscores vardy for me....also Leicester not doing as well as the start of season.

downgrade DDG if you need funds. Oxford doesn't play and Targett is far from nailed, useless having two players scoring 0 every week

I consider it unlikely. Koeman has never stuck to 3-5-2 for any length of time, despite achieving results with it. Moreover, with Caulker gone, it relies on Bertrand playing as a LCB. He'd be exposed by Arsenal IMO.

I could be wrong, yes. But I'd say my knowledge of the tactical history of Saints is better than most on here. I'm only going on precedent, Koeman may change his mind about 3-5-2. With a switch to 4-3-2-1, I would also think that favours Austin starting, with Pelle doubtful.

Just clinging on to hope it was not a stupid rushed transfer Lucy.

Also that 0.4 saved over Simpson may make all the difference down the track 🙂

While you are here, i have Long in a draft league. Any hope he continues his run?

In a 4-3-2-1, he often gets shoved wide or onto the bench. Koeman has doubts about him leading the line alone. That being said, he has done it in tough away matches, in order to help with faster counter attacks. So you may be ok for a couple of games longer (pardon the pun).

With tough fixtures he will be on the bench anyway so could be time to dump back into the draft

Do you mean Kane to Lukaku, as opposed to the reverse? I had a similar dilemma, but buying Aguero. It was either Kane to Aguero, or KDB and Ighalo to Wijnaldum and Aguero. I decided to downgrade KDB, so that's what I'd suggest. Tough call though.

Yeah apologies i've had a mare there...

I think eventually it's going to have to be something similar for me. KDB might well fire but can't keep waiting for that to happen and you'd think if he does Aguero will have some part in it.

      Foster or Myhill?

Pulis: "It's brilliant to have an England Int' GK back. Bo has been fantastic. I've got a big decision to make" #WBA

I'd say that there's a chance Foster will start based on that. I don't know how Pulis has talked about it previously though.

Similar comments from Pulis before, it doesn't help Myhill's cause that West Brom struggling to keep clean sheets and West Brom record a clean sheet in the FA Cup replay with Foster as GK.

Hmmm. It's also the west midlands derby. Would Pulis want to introduce Foster back in that kind of game? Or are Villa so bad that it's the perfect game to do so in. Impossible to know really!

Think Mark is maybe getting a bit of a harsh rap. Okay maybe most of us would disagree with his arguments but he's right in saying that it might be a bit more boring if everyone was pro Aguero.
