The ScoutCast – Episode 187 – Flipchart

We’ve been left hanging for weeks but finally, on 3pm on Tuesday, we were handed the Double Gameweek details and could begin our planning in earnest.

This week’s ScoutCast is dominated by double Gameweek chatter, as your community queries hone in on the variables, strategies and planning involved in exploiting the fixture pile-up to the full.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we attempt to make sense of it all, turning to a virtual flipchart to digest and communicate some of the options on offer.

It’s hardcore stuff that takes into extra time in an exhaustive 80-minute episode.

This was first aired live via our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening, Be sure to subscribe in order to get wind of future broadcasts.

You can view that live version via the larger player below, or indulge on the directors cut audio stream via this link or the smaller player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

No, I'm doing the same and have the same front 7 as yours. You don't get many chances to play Siggy vs. such defensive record 🙂

    Hi all

    Butland - McC
    Fuchs Daniels Saylor Dann (Kompany)
    Mahrez Payet Siggy Eriksen (Shaqiri)
    Kun Kane Vardy

    1ft / 2.9itb
WC in 33 with BB/TC intact

What to do? Replace Komp? Or roll the transfer and play one of my latter two defenders.
Kind of feel like I should roll it but don't trust either one of the choices I have to play.

Question from a casual: can you use a wildcard and a chip (say BB) in one week?

No, because a wild card is classed as a chip.

    Play Butland or Ruddy?

I never get these two right since Ruddy came back and always bench the higher scorer lol

Lots a useful tips & strategies going into the DGWs, but as someone has only WC and AoAttack chip remaining, any suggestions? (I did ok with it, but foolishly wasted the BBoost long ago)

Does anyone think an AoA is worth doing either of the DGW, or am I best using (if at all) in perhaps GW35 or other?
My theory is that planning to use in a DGW makes my squad selection tricky i.e. loading up on higher priced MF and Fwds at the expense of Def. Thoughts?
