The ScoutCast – Episode 189 – Trapdoor

Have we fallen hook, line and sinker? After taking a beating by a cast of talent sacrificed in our Gameweek 33 Wildcards, it certainly feels we’ve obliviously wandered over a trapdoor and slammed back down to earth.

We’re back up to full strength in the ScoutCast as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to compare the bruises inflicted by our Gameweek 33 refresh. We endevour to remain optimistic, clinging to the hope that the Gameweek 34 bench boost chip will deliver and help us balm the damage from a disastrous weekend.

Judging by the line of questioning from the community, we’re not the only ones smarting. The four of us pick through your bout of queries, before looking ahead the weekend and the Gameweek that could yet revive our seasons.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

Keep all if not injured, not a time to be wasting transfers. (I believe B is injured?)

Roberto Martinez explained that he is likely to turn to some members of the Blues' impressive Under-21 ranks to cover for any players unable to make Saturday's game.
He explained: "Five games in two weeks means the squad is going to be tested at some point and that's going to be tomorrow against Southampton.

Do we think Carroll will play both games in 34?

on form probably will, but he is also likely to pick up an injury at any time, but could prove to be a good alternative to martial mitrovic etc

On WC this week and NOT A CLUE what to do 😀

Think I'm going to have to get some of my SGW players back in. Just can't see enough reliability in the DGWers.

WC for the DGW, any suggestions?

    DDG
    Fosu-Mensah / Gabriel / Cresswell
    Iwobi / Sanchez (c) / Nasri / Payet
    Sturridge / Martial / Aguero

Subs: Lloris / Alli / Moreno / Simpson

Also gives me 3.4itb so I can do Martial > Kane for GW35 and have a full XI

    Can you guys please help?

I have bench boost and 14/15 double game week players for GW34. However, for GW35 I only have 8 players to feild at the moment. Thinking of taking a -4 hit to swop Delaney to one of the following below (to give me 9 GW35 players) and then taking another -4 hit in GW35 to get the 11. People think this is a good idea?

    Delaney swops:
    - Moreno/Sakho (I already have clyne)
    - Walker/Rose/Dier/Vertonghen
    - Dawson

    Any expect help please?? 🙂

What do you guys think of those moves?

    Lukaku > Martial

    Jags > Fusu-Mensah

    Lennon > Navas/Nasri

    (-8) but using BB.

Is the last sentence the hint we could see some changes with ARS defenders? so many risks with my team, I'm afraid I won't be able to field even 11 for GW34. 🙂

...Wenger added: “It’s a London derby. Crystal Palace, now, should be completely safe even if they may still need one or two points. But I think they got out of relegation trouble, nearly. They’re a team with a good offensive potential, with strong individuals like Bolasie, Zaha, Adebayor, Wickham, a big offensive force. So we have to rectify the fact we conceded at West Ham and come back to being strong defensively.”

Hey. Help would be really appreciated as I'm struggling.

    Mitrovic/Jagielka/Lingard/Gabriel

    Two be replaced with:

    A
    Martial/Fosu-Mensah/Iwobi/Francis (from Bournemouth)

    B
Carroll/Fosu-Mensah/Iwobi/Clichy or a defender up to 5.5 excluding, Bellerin, Fuchs, Sako, and other Liverpool or Arsenal.

    Thanks

LOL at how they had awful week and their lowest was about 56 points - but I get its after using wildcard.

I only got 35 points - well into the 3m rankings! Blanks from Kane, Lukaku, Payet, Mahrez, Firmino, KDB, Daniels, Azpilicueta. Not much from De Gea. Only player who did anything was Sanchez (goal) and Fuchs with clean sheet (but he got a yellow).

    And I made 3 transfers!!

Setup though (hopefully) for gameweek 34!
