The Weekend Team News

Aaron Ramsey is ruled out of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea and Olivier Giroud requires a late fitness test. Bournemouth’s Charlie Daniels is still sidelined for a trip to Everton, while Virgil van Dijk could be out for up to three months with an ankle injury.

Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are set for late fitness tests ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Chelsea, though Arsene Wenger expects both to be available. Aaron Ramsey is ruled out for three weeks with a calf complaint.

Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has been ruled out for the season after suffering knee ligament damage in training. Charlie Daniels is also unavailable for the trip to Goodison, though Max Gradel is back in contention after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Calum Chambers has a chance of returning for Middlesbrough’s clash with Spurs, though Gaston Ramirez and George Friend are still unavailable.

Virgil van Dijk has been ruled out for two to three months with an ankle complaint, while James Ward-Prowse and Jay Rodriguez will continue to be assessed ahead of Southampton’s clash with West Ham, Claude Puel has confirmed. Meanwhile, cub-record signing Manolo Gabbiadini looks in line for a debut after arriving from Napoli on transfer deadline day.

Xherdan Shaqiri remains sidelined for Stoke’s clash with West Brom, while Glen Johnson is expected to miss out again. Wilfried Bony and Mame Biram Diouf are back in the squad after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Leon Britton is back in training and comes into contention for Swansea’s trip to the Etihad. New signing Jordan Ayew won’t be available, though, as he is still turning out for Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Sunderland new boys Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson will be “in and around the squad” for the trip to Palace, David Moyes has confirmed. Papy Djilobodji serves the second of a four-match suspension.

Steven Defour is sidelined for Burnley’s trip to Watford due to a hamstring problem. New boys Robbie Brady and Ashley Westwood are both available to make their debuts, Sean Dyche has confirmed.

Marco Silva has confirmed that new signings Alfred N’Diaye and Kamil Grosicki are available for Hull’s home encounter against Liverpool. Dieumerci Mbokani is also in contention after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, though Lazar Markovic cannot play against his parent club.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Man, my Sanchez Alli Phillips Stan Capoo mid looks so dodgy this week too. Only Alli has a good fixture. Won't be surprised with 2 pointers from the rest.

I'd be happy playing any of those 5 defenders, but all your attackers could also return points. It's a tricky one.

Pep on G Jesus and Aguero.

Gabriel is 19 years old, but has settled quickly. He takes English lessons every single day and that means a lot to me.
The three games he played he showed a lot of things. Desire, helping us in our high pressing, his intensity, his movement.
There’s no doubt about the quality of Sergio. The big clubs in Europe have a lot of strikers. Now I have many options.
In Brazil, Gabriel played on the left side. Both can play together. Gabriel is a fighter. That’s why he can help us a lot.

Sounds to me like both could play this Sunday.

Not for me. Chances of him scoring over 4 points higher than him this coming week?

      Also blank gw 26.
How much would you lose to sell him too?

If was on a free and rest of my squad was good I'd do it for this week.

Both good sets of transfers but who are you selling again? If it's Giroud and Rose/Daniels then do that and bring in Brunt and Lukaku.

    Danny Rose to...
    1) Coleman (doubling up on Baines and Coleman too risky?)
    2) Brunt (scores at home)
    3) Walker (can he do it all himself? would leave just 0.3 ITB)
    4) Funes Mori (again, doubling up, but he's cheaper and frees up cash to ship Gru next GW, if need be)

    Giroud & Rose to

    A: Jesus/coleman

    B Lukaku/Brunt

Worth a four point hit for Jones and Amat > Walker and Brunt?

Going to sell Ake tonight before another 0.1 loss. 4.4 max for 4tg mid and not sold on Holgate. Maguire looks a decent bet and Hull have two good fixtures over 26 and 28. Decent option?
