The Big Numbers – Gameweek 27

In our final article of the evening, we check in on the Opta data in the first members’ article of the Gameweek, pinpointing some of the most impressive performers over the ten fixtures so far.

Delving into the numbers, our attentions turn to in-form midfielders from Everton and West Ham ahead of a reduced Gameweek 28.

Swansea and Southampton both supply us with a pair of eye-catching assets, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s numbers come under analysis as his owners take to the transfer market in light of today’s suspension.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Is Milner a horrible choice? I can bench him next week away to city and it allows me a team of,

    Alonso, Coleman, Evans, Holebas, Holgate

If I make Holgate > Fernandez -4 this week I can field 11. I know that Holgate may play but it looks like he has been dropped so it's -2 actually.
Than WBA has heavy fixtures (ARS, MU) so Evans will probably stay on my bench and the choice would be between Holebas and Fernandez. I look only at few next games as potential DGW in GW 34 will change a lot.

    Holebas (blank, Cry, SUN)
    Fernandez (Hull, Bou, MIDD)

Would you take a hit to get Fernandez?

Still think GW33 might be the ideal time to play the 2nd WC.

Fill it with plenty of DGW players ready for GW34 and playing BB in GW37.

    Gw28 team:

    Jaku
    Coleman Amat (will he play?)
    Mane King Phillips Siggy
    Kaku

Heaton Defoe Kane Piters Walker Alonso Allen

Already took a hit by doing Kun > Kane because of price rise...
Should I look at taking another -4 hit for a defender that will play?

    GRANT, PICKFORD
    Coleman, Baines, Brunt, ALONSO, CEDRIC
    Snodgrass, Siggy, Philips, STAN, STERLING
    Lukaku, IBRA, AGUERO

0.3 in the bank and 1 FT. How does the below 8 point hit look?

    Ibra to Lloriente
    Stan to Firmino/King

I see them as 2 point hits because at minimum they should be getting 2 back for playing, so anything on top of that means i gained points.

+ I'm happy to hold onto Mane and Lloriente until my WC, won't be taking any more hits until then.

The numbers (RMT and my calculations) are pretty even on this and I have three options on my team:

    Jakupovic // Cech
    Alonso // Azpilicueta // Baines // Evans // Pieters
    Sterling // Alli // Sigurdsson // Phillips // Barkley
    Aguero // Lukaku // Llorente
£0.9m ITB, 0FT probable wildcard in GW32 or soon after when the DGWs are announced.

    A) Sterling --> Firmino (can't afford Mane from Sterling in one move)
    B) Sterling + Aguero --> Mane + Kane (Kane won't play but would save a transfer that I would do next week anyway)
    C) Do nothing for now
    D) Something else (please explain)

Thanks for your help and ideas.

    Siggy Mane (Sterling, Stanislas, Eriksen)
    Lukaku Rondon (Aguero)

Stanislas is really stinking up my team and i've been meaning to take him out for Tom Carroll for a while. I'll be wanting Gabbi and two big hitters after the blank so will be 343 so he should release some funds.
