Frequent Summer Posters League

The launch of the Fantasy Premier League game this week is set to see the number of comments on Fantasy Football Scout rocket following the long wait since the 2016/17 season closed in May. 

To acknowledge those hardy souls who have still been here over the hot summer weeks I have decided to create a new community competition – the Frequent Summer Posters League.

To enter all you have to do is fill out this form with your FPL ID number, your Fantasy Football Scout name and your Fantasy Football Scout user link by the deadline of Monday July 17, 4pm.

Here are more details.

Eligibility: At least 5 pages of comments history in last 30 days and a FPL ID

Format: FPL classic league

Duration: Entire Season (Gameweek 1 – Gameweek 38)

The league will be setup in FPL within 10 days of the deadline. In addition, each week the Community Round Up will provide updates on who is leading the league.

    Worth noting that this is the first competition using a new community competition function we've developed where we can provide an entry form and send over the names of those entering to the competition organiser. Big thanks to tech guy Mat for sorting this.

    Anybody who wants to play more than one fantasy game, Fox Sports (Australia) EPL Fantasy is almost the same as FPL, from the rules to the player prices, but it's easier and not many played last season so your rank can be flattering. 🙂

    The main differences (from last season - 2017-8 isn't open yet):

    14-man squad (only one keeper)
    No more than 2 players from any team
    Player prices in Australian $$$; budget, $95,000
    Two free transfers per gameweek; any more, 3-point penalty
    One wildcard

    No chips

    These may change when the game opens (date unknown).
