With six Gameweeks under our belts we have a wealth of underlying statistics to wade through in our search for players with the potential to score big.
Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero – both of whom appeared in early season ‘Should have done better’ tables – are now proving their quality and class.
In sharp contrast regulars on the table from the Crystal Palace team continue to disappoint.
There have also been high hopes for Newcastle striker Joselu and West Ham forward Andy Carroll, but a mixture of difficult fixtures, misfortune and strong defensive displays, meant that they have also frequently let us down.
Here I’ll reveal how the pre-Gameweek 6 underlying statistics stars got on and then, exclusively for Members, I will reveal those who are primed for points ahead of Gameweek 7.

Analysis
Four players from the above tables have now proved that they were able to do better, whether it be from surviving a dry-spell, or by registering their first returns of the season so far.
Phillipe Coutinho – After a difficult summer, and only his second start of the season, the little Brazilian shone in a five goal thriller at the King Power Stadium. A goal, assist and maximum bonus  illustrated his Fantasy potential. At £8.8m, he is cheaper than both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the fight for Liverpool’s premium midfielder of choice. Sitting in 5.1% of teams, he is also the differential pick amongst the three (Mane 11.0% ownership, Salah 35.1% ownership).
Dele Alli – A quiet spell for the hot-headed Tottenham ace (two blanks against Everton and Swansea respectively) was followed by pair of assists in another five goal thriller, this time at the Olympic Stadium. Five goal attempts and as many key passes in his two blanks demonstrate that Alli is always going to be involved in the action; he is a player who can explode in any fixture he plays, a player for whom there will always be the expectation to deliver points. Despite this, Alli is being outscored by his Danish team mate – Christian Eriksen – so far this season, who has registered returns in four of his six games played.
Josh King – The Norwegian was finally able to break his duck for the season, at the sixth time of asking. A regular offender in the ‘Should have done better’ table, King has struggled to replicate his fantastic form from last season. His poor form this term, coupled with his reclassification as a striker, means that his ownership sits at a meagre 2.2%. This is a significant fall from grace, following his lofty heights last season. A goal in Gameweek 6, however, may well be the catapult that King needs to be able to get back to the level we came to expect from him during 2016/17. A trip to Tottenham, and the visit of Chelsea, in the next four Gameweeks may dampen any immediate appeal, but Bournemouth have a kind run of fixtures from GW11 through to GW16 (new, HUD, swa, BUR, SOU, cry) where King may well force his way into our teams.
Daniel Sturridge – Finding himself as a bit-part player again this term, Sturridge’s assist in Gameweek 6 came from a 26 minute cameo from the bench. A goal and an assist so far this season, having completed 90 minutes only once, is probably par for the course for a player with undoubted quality, but a massively unfortunate injury record who will perhaps always struggle for pitch time.
